An interview with:
GUILLERMO CORIA
(Answers through translation.)
THE MODERATOR: Questions for Guillermo Coria.

Q. The fact that you have finished in this tournament, what do you feel? Is a
little bit sad?
GUILLERMO CORIA: Yes, I am very sad, especially because I knew it was going to be very difficult. In the other group are players that have withdrawn.
I have one more match left against Federer, try to play like I did today and improve my serve.

Q. Tennis requires you to be physically strong. Physically you are not in a very strong position. Next year what are you going to do physically? Are you going to improve physically next year?
GUILLERMO CORIA: I feel physically very well. I have no problems. I feel strong. Maybe that question should be asked to those who are not playing here, to the people that are not playing.
I feel very well physically. Maybe I'll have to ask you what to do. Hewitt is not also a very big guy or very strong guy, and he was No. 1 and No. 2 in the world when he came here. He won this tournament three years ago.

Whining about other people bitching is still whining.

Not that I had a problem with anything Ivan said, but if somebody else wants to call it whining... so be it.

Maybe that's the noise that mangoes makes as he's reading aloud and stumbles upon such words as "moderator".

Why the stars? Why bother saying anything at all if you're not going to really say it? That's sort of like children who swear while covering their mouths.

Coria doesn´t speak English (at least not for an interview), so they don´t usually bother in translating the whole interview.

They just translated those two questions for the official website, that's all. But he obviously gave a normal press conference after the match.

"Ljubicic viene criticando demasiado últimamente, debería aprovechar más su gran año. Da su opinión, pero es una lástima. En París se estaba quejando en voz alta de cómo era posible que (Mariano) Puerta jugara el Masters"
http://www.lanacion.com.ar/756688

Coria on Ljubicic's comments:
"Ljubicic has been critisizing a lot lately, he should enjoy the great year he's had. He gives his opinion, but it's a shame. In Paris he was complaining aloud of how it was possible for Puerta to play the Masters"

Just a normal reaction imo, it's pretty irritating when somebody like Ljubicic, who keeps giving his advice on everything, says "Coria should shut up and play". ;)

I don't know why Coria is being picked on. For me he comes out as a very intelligent, humane and thoughtful player, unlike some players who whine and just complain for the sake of drawing attention to themselves. Coria is feisty, and I think that is a good trait.

What did you expect? I said it beforehand the guy's crap and has no business being in a TMC, the guy is way out of his league with the best 8, he can't even win a set against this level of players forget about a match, last year 0-3 (0-6 sets), this year the same. The man even says in his interviews he can't win, what else do you need to hear? Go home Coria you embarass yourself.

This is his 3rd consecutive TMC.
He was the best player on clay before Nadal came out.
If the TMC's were played on clay, he would have won more than one. But TMC is unfairly played on carpets year after year.
