The strokes of tennis players

Seeing the way berdych is able to generate tremendous pace with such languidly efficient and compact strokes I wondered whether some sports scientists could quantify the effectiveness of various pro's groundstrokes. They could calculate speed of the racket upon impact, the duration of the stroke, the drag(air resistance) each swing produces, and the trajectory of the follow through(maybe they could try to map it as a function or something and use calculus blah blah, I'm not really sure whether this makes any sense but what the hell). Then they could somehow calculate efficiency coefficients for each players groundstrokes(similar to efficiency for machines) that would run from 0 to 1. 1 would be the pinnacle of efficiency of stroke which I don't think has been attained yet, otherwise tennis would have no where to go forwards as a sport. I bet Marat, Agassi and Berdych would rate around a 0.85 for their backhands. And Roger around the same for the forehand.
