I really want Ivan to win but I have a sneaky suspicion Berdych will pull through. Ivan looked so tired at times he will have to be firing on all cylinders and Berdych has a fierce serve and very potent groundstrokes. It will not be easy for Ivan. I really hope he will be up for it.

I watched both matches, Ljubicic looked far more impressive. I think it will be a tough first set and then two easy sets for Ivan.

Something along the lines of 7-5 6-1 6-3

Berdych still has holes in his game and concentration lapses so it wouldn't be difficult for Ljubicic to break him. In all fairness, Ljubicic does deserve his first TMS title.

Berdych loves playing the big players, and he has nothing to lose, all the pressure is on Ljubo, he has been the indoor formhorse and he is expected to win.

They are 2-0 in H2H and Ljubo hasn't lot a set. I want Berdych to win, but I can't begrudge a Ljubo victory.

Ok, Ljubo has done well in Davis Cup. He hasn't done well in the big events, before Madrid a few weeks ago. He has come up short in the big ones before, so time to see if he can change that.

How about answering the question?

It is difficult to imagine Tomas wins this, but he definitely has played well the last several tournaments so it is possible

I say that IF Tomas wins, he pulls it out in 5 and is helped by Ivan's tiredness.
Otherwise I say Ivan wins in 3 or 4

Ok, just to make this clear and precise. This context I didn't call Ljubo a choker. I said he needs to improve his record in big matches outside the DC, and that includes his poor Slam record and up until Madrid a poor overall TMS record for someone of his ability. Those are the big tournaments, are there others?

For the season he has done, Ljubicic would "deserve" a masters on indoor more than Berdych. I hope that he will take this.

About the big match "choke", he has mostly lost finals against Nadal or Federer. The other one was against J.Johansson. But it's true that he doesn't perform well in GS.

Some fans of Karol Beck are losers who will criticise players on the tennis circuit even when they undoubtedly wouldnt possess half the fitness or strength of those players.

Some Karol Beck fans are also losers who will pay out Ljubicic non-stop out of jealousy because the player they support cant win a match.

People should respect the fact that Ivan is fair player, who makes good use of his abilities, even if he isn't the most talented player on tour.

Who gives a crap what both of them look like, it really doesn't matter. And seriously KarolBeckFan, enough with the shit stirring. You attack a group of people (Ljubicic supporters) and then keep coming back for more. When someone says a remark about faggots/ queers/ homo-sexuals you're all over them.

For the record, Ljubo isn't very attractive but he has a nice looking wife, so he's done pretty well despite his looks. Berdych looks like a girl, and if you like that in a dude, then good for you, but seriously real women are better.

If Ljubo wins the reasons will be it was a depleted field, can't beat these top players when they are there, he is mega tired and has injury problems, he is thinking about Davis Cup.

Berdych excuses are a depleted field, he only had to beat claycourt players to get to the final, Ljubo was injured and he took advantage.

I try not to vote for two reasons - 1) I'm slightly superstitious in that regard, and I don't want to jinx the player I'm rooting for, and 2) I'm sure I'd be mostly wrong even if I do vote. Boils down to cowardice, I guess.

Berdych in 5 sets.

It seems like I got it right.

Well done Tomas, one thing no need for a timeout in between games and as to Ljubo there is a Davis Cup that needs to be won.

Well done, Berdych!

But what the hell happened in that last game, Ivan? I guess that the credit for that goes to Berdych for being aggressive and taking charge when it counted but that last game was odd.

Did everybody see Safin? He's looking fine as usual!

Yeah, it was suddenly 0-40 - and then it became deuce, and I was starting to get unsure, and then the next two points finished the match. That must have been incredibly tense for both players.
