After all the trouble with Coria, Zabaleta and the joke with De La Peña, he decided to apologize himself by playing for Argentina in the tour.

From ITF's site, his birthday is July 6, 1983 so he's not very young. And he only played in Futures since Oct 2004.

whenever i am looking for Fernando Gonzalez profile, I get asked to choose between: Fernando Gonzalez and Fernando Gonzalez(Arg). But when I choose the Argentinian one they don't have picture or much info.

For me it's frustrating because I have to go one more step before getting to the Teddy Bear.

Being Fernando and Gonzalez a name and surname very typical in spanish-speaking countries i don't see where's the funny thing in this thread..

Chile and Argentina are plenty of persons called Fernando Gonzalez...

Yeah, as Galaxystorm said both names are common so no wonder they are given to an Argentinean as well.

They can't help it! Gonzalez is a common surname and Fernando with Gonzalez is a common combination throughout Latin America, Spain and the Philippines. :) Just like Conchita Martinez and Conchita Martinez Granados. Conchita (wimby 94 champ) should buy the Granados version a nice gift for being the nice one!

Muchos descartaron las habilidades de Cervantes y de Lopez de Vega. :wavey:
