Any news on Younes El Aynaoui?

The last tour level match, as far as I know, that Younes played was against Mayer at the Open de Moselle. As far as I can tell he has only won one tour level match this year. Does anyone know if he will be returning to the tour next year? I miss his fiery personality and his inspiring story :) So, does anyone know what he is doing, is he planning on retiring?

Keep Truckin Younes!!!! :worship:

I saw Younnes playing against Lapentti in Madrid and he played quite well, won in straights sets and lost to Chela in 3. Comparing to the games I saw in Casablanca earlier in the year, I could say he´s improved a lot, and not only his fitness.

Yeah Younes played the qualification for the GP Lyon Open, but he lost in R3 against Nicolas Mahut 7-6(5) 6-3

They showed the match on Eurosport France last week :)

It would be nice to see Younes come back. He's one of my favorite players :)

I do remember him making it to the semis of the Scheveningen challenger, but on tour level he can't make it yet...

yeahhh lipka... today he said some funny things on him lol... he#s a guy with sense of humour... at first he seemed quite unsure if can joke about lipka as i am from poland and asked about it, but when i told him nobody here heard about this player about the few freak fans of the discipline and even less of journalists........

as about his future... he wants to be back in top 20 and he really believes he can make it! he says he#ll play on tour next year and later... we'll see... mainly depends on his family. his best dream is to help his team to get far in <dc and he admits his 3 sons are future DC players for Morocco.

he said also many other interesting things :) now i#m out to support him against Korolev who has bright future and must be interesting as well.... (looks to me like he lives in germany because there's where he started playing and his first game in Russia was few weeks ago in Moscow Q). never played junior events. Younes says Korolev may be dangerous, he plays fast and quick. if you have any q to me about the challenger feel free to ask :) esp. on my PM or in challenger thread to not to make the offtopic.

kindest greetings busy as always Nat.
