Malisse does it again

After outplaying LaLo in most parts of the match (except tie-breaker in 2nd set I´d say) they were 3 all in 3rd set, Malisse facing a bp, he argues with Moulier, receives a warning and keeps the fight... Result: Second warning and point for López, LaLo breaks and doesn´t look behind from there.

Xavier, go find a new brain :o

What a shame. Maybe he would have won this match if it weren't for his behaviour. And he's such a talent !!! Too bad :awww:

A player defeated by Feli " The Pakete " always deserves to be called as the " dumb of the day " :smash:

I was at that match, and I was a bit shock by Xav's attitude, the worst was the crowd attitude, against Feliciano Lopez. The poor guy when he was interviewed, didn't understand why the crowd was so naughty, to him.

I hope his coach will show him that the balls were really in before he got angry at the umpire... and that his attitude only harms himself.
If he would have kept calm the result would have been different. That's a real pity...

I was at that match, and I was a bit shock by Xav's attitude, the worst was the crowd attitude, against Feliciano Lopez. The poor guy when he was interviewed, didn't understand why the crowd was so naughty, to him.On t.v. it seemed like the majority of the crowd didn't hear the umpire announcing the code violations (& the point penalty) so they just thought he announced the score wrong & the players were just going along with it. When Lopez started serving, they started booing him as if it was his fault (that the score was now favoring him) & when he asked the umpire to quiet down the crowd, they booed more. Just like the Nadal/Grosjean situation at Roland Garros, the whole thing could have been alleviated by the umpire repeating his ruling (or ennuciating the first time he said it).

I think it's time for him to give the shrink a call.

What I don't understand is why umpires don't repeat, or explain clearly to the crowd what the rulings made are, or why they're made. It would take 5 seconds, and it would alleviate all this nonsense when the crowd gets ticked off for no reason.

I feel bad for Xavier. Obviously has trouble dealing with the pressure of everything. Hopefully someone can help him out. Because he's talented and people enjoy watching him play. And he has so many fans that want to see him do well.

I don't understand either why the umpires let things get out of control the way they do either with the players or with the fans. Some are good at it...but others just sit there like lumps, and everything just spirals out of control.

A good veteran chair umpire can make the difference - and for the players that are tempermental, they should make sure there's someone with a good record for keeping calm out there on court.

So is Malisse banned for another four weeks now? I heard that after his Miami disqualification he got a sanction of four weeks with the additional condition that he will be banned for another four weeks if he is fined for his conduct again this season.

The good thing. It was in front of his new coach. Nice to see your pupil at his worst from the start. Marc was writing down a lot of stuff.

Guys. This is not about Xavier's brain. It's about his heart. He's really mad or sad about something and he hasn't handle it properly. That anger tells it all
