King Shit is Andy Roddick because that is how he is playing right now. Hopefully, he can win Bercy and save himself from further humiliation.

He is a very arrogant man who is not nice at all to the kids who ask him for autographs and walks around with a "my shit doesn't stink" attitude.

That's just my impression of him from seeing him around.

Coria, who is always making up something to justify his losses. I don't remember the last time he said he lost a match because the opponent played better than him.

He did after losing to Ginepri...he said, "Ginepri won because he played better"..."He won because he deserved it." <-- those are direct quotes from the press conference held after the match they had.

That's the most stupid accusation you can make, because it's really easy to prove it's wrong. Just have a look at Coria's press conferences this year, he always was respectful towards his opponent.
People don't even bother to read what he really says before bashing him, thanks for proving this again. :)

(The best example was in Roland-Garros when everybody said he lost because he was feeling overconfident while he kept saying he wasn't in his interviews. Here's the beginning of his press conference after his loss in Roland-Garros:
Q. What happened in this match? Tell us about it.
GUILLERMO CORIA: Well, actually, I think that I was facing a very strong opponent, and I think that he confirmed today what a good player he is. He's extremely confident. He was putting shots in all the corners. He was playing very, very well, and I couldn't manage to push him to the back of the court.
As I said the other day, I knew that I had to improve my level if I wanted to go further. I faced an excellent player today, and I couldn't use any of the opportunities I had. He was a very good player and he beat me today. (...))

Every player is king shit, they must convince themselves they are good so they can actually beat someone else. If they don't believe in themselves first, who would then? Otherwise they should find another profession.

Well said. :yeah: I don't know why some people love bashing Coria, he is just human,no different from any 23 year old person. I don't find his press onferences egotistical, or his on court behaviour that much more reprehensible than many others. So, why this obsession with bashing him?

I agree with you insofar as he is not one of my favs, but I love watching him play for the magic he does with a racket. But I think his bashers are also turning him into a favourite, because I feel he has become a hate figure on this board and I have to speak for him.

Thank goodness there are those of us who have had better impressions. Here's a nice photo. I guess the kid caught him on an off day. Bastard...he even looks like he's enjoying it.

He always gave me the impression that he was a total pretty boy, not an arrogant prick, though when I got to talking with him in January, I figured that looks can be deceiving, and he's really just a regular bloke. If only he did think he was King Shit, maybe he would play to his potential. That'd be great Jurgen :retard:

In answer to the question... I have no idea. There are guys who show a lot of arrogance (or could it be confidence!?) on court, but are pussycats off the court. I've seen some ass-ish behaviour from Bogomolov, Ginepri, Gaudio, Hewitt and Coria... but I like to think they're not like this every match. Then again, I don't really watch these guys. Except Bogomolov occasionally.

I agree with that - if you're a professional you simply HAVE to believe that you can go out there and beat your opponent because you're better than him - otherwise you might as well pack up and go home. However - in my expereince there are some players who still retain their class and humility despite their success over the years (Moya, Guga, Henman for example), - while others are just a**holes plain and simple  And - no - I'm not going to name anyone - at least 2 of them have already been named by other posters already!!!

Love your avatar by the way blosson :)
