Hi there :wavey: due to me being at uni, I often have to do essays/projects of my choice (often I choose tennis). I have found one of the greatest books ever:

ITF - Tennis Science & Technology (Edition 2)
Contents here: http://www.itftennis.com/technical/research/tst/2003/contents.asp#here

This is by far the best book in my collection, I looked recently at the first edition and noticed that the contents are totally different! I expected them to be the same, but the book contains many interesting journal articles (so its not like a textbook). The first edition has relevant articles for my next project, so I am gonna get that out tomorrow

Edition 1: http://www.itftennis.com/technical/research/tst/2000/contents.asp#here

Anyway, I am writing here to see whether anyone has read either of these books? Or know where its possible to buy them?

I am able to use the unis copies, but if they get requested (then I will have to take it back, and anyway I think its worth buying these books seeing how much I have used them during my time at uni). Although, the 150$ pricemark is a little hefty!! But its probably worth it.

Thanks :wavey:

PS I reccomend this to any sports science student who is interested in tennis (although, maybe some of the posters may enjoy reading the articles out of interest too)

I would be very interested to purchase this, having looked at a brief explanation of the book's contents, however, I have never seen a book priced that expensive!! :D

I have 1000£ given to me by the uni support as a grant for books! I spent 500 or so on a camera :D Then i spent 215£ on books! So, I will have some leftover to buy one of the books I THINK! :D I have emailed the ITF and asked where I can buy them! But two of them at about 100£ will be abit much :tape:
