Lets talk about Bercy!

IM going to the qualies and the Wednesday. Maybe i'll run over after work on another weekday, i will see. Who will win? who is going? Anybody taking photos? I plan on a full roll of 26 photos for Bercy. Some will be outside but most inside, IF they allow flash. Should be fun even without Nadal Fed Safin Gasquet and who Else?

Actually ive decided I'll knock up Seb for an autograph this year. I havent seen Seb in at least 2 years and he probably wont remember me.

I hardly think it'll be necessary to go to those lengths to get his signature.

Im not sure i know what you mean? i dont like asking the same person at Bercy and RG, i think its rude. Maybe i'll get a fake beard and earing, and a thick Gold chain, maybe then he wont recognize me. His slump coincides directly with when he gave me autos at RG two years ago.

A bad pun on my part, please pay it no heed. Anyhow, is this the two-year slump after RG 03 that included two Queens finals and two Wimbledon semifinals, plus another AO QF? I think it's a little more recent than you suggest.

oooh, well he was doing good I thought til RG 2004, then things got a bit ugly followed by an early season retirement. I dont think hes won a Tournament since before 2004 RG. Maybe he can take this one?

I am going on Monday!

It is my first time at Bercy, I have never been before so I hope it is a good tournament!

His last two titles have been in the two upcoming weeks of the calendar - St. Petersburg in 2002, and Bercy the year before that. Obviously indoor carpet is just about his best surface along with grass these days, so he has a shot at doing well, but I'm not sure he's the same player he was when he scared the living daylights out of opponents with those whipped off-forehand returns into the corners back in 2001.

Kewl, you live in Frogland? or are you visiting from out of town? How come just one day? the qualies are usually 15 euros for both days..

I go to Bercy on monday, tuesday and wednesday and I'll try to be outside the stadium on sat and sunday. Good things happen sometimes outside :)

For pictures, if you don't have a digital camera, I recommend you to take the pics outside, cause inside, it's a waste of rolls, except if you have rolls 1600 iso. Hopefully, digital camera are great for indoors.

I can't wait to be at Bercy !!!

My first thought about Bercy: I miss Marat Safin.

Actually, if he's absent along with the top two, that really will be a breath of fresh air - not that it's good for him or anyone else to be injured, but that way we're more likely to get a surprise winner a la Grosjean/Henman, since Safin has completely dominated the event in the years that he's been able to show up healthy. Bear this in mind people, only one man has defeated him in Bercy in the last five years, and we all know his name... for quite simply, it spells victory.

Hey who said that he won't play? According to his official website nothing is sure just yet! He will be in Paris anyway because adiddas has buisness with him...So, let's get optimistic and hope he will play! C'mon Marat! Get well! :) :) :)

That's exactly what I meant. Thinking about Bercy just made me realise how much I miss Marat. That's all I wanted to say.

I may be there for quallies - but won't know definately til later in the week. By the way FrogBurger - just for your future reference - in English slang "knock up" means something totally different from the meaning you were trying to convey (hence Sjengster's pun!). ...I will leave it to your imagination to work it out ;)

People get very cold (and often wet) waiting outside the Players' Entrance for autographs and photos etc. Must say- in my own view - no one is worth getting that cold and wet for

World is small. We are not so many to like Enqvist !! Last year, we took pics with Enqvist, we were three, but I think the girl who really likes Enqvist, it's not me, it was the person who was with me, i like him, but "really", I'm the oldest person :), a little bit more reserved.

I think i guessed who you are !!! Did i see you in Roland-Garros this year ? It it's yes, it would be nice to meet you again :)
