He really didn't have much of a chance against the serve of the Jolley Green Giant. Better luck next time Nadal.

I know the game isn't over yet, but it's about to be.

I frightfully think that Ljubicic has run out of energy. I hope that isn't the case.

It just HAS to bug Ljubicic at this point that he's had SOOOOO many chances in each and every one of Nadal's service games since God knowns when, yet he hasn't been able to convert on a single one... and I'm not talking strictly break points here, but there's been a number of 40-40's and 0-30's etc. That has got to get you thinking.

Rafa has some fuel left. Woa.

Flibbertigibbet
10-23-2005, 05:44 PM
Will the fuel be enough, though?

slipmaskin

Pretty typical. Breaks to 2-0 and then proceeds to play the shittiest service game imaginable. Inexplicable misses. All signs point to Nadal at this moment.

Nadal is going to have to fight real hard to win this one.

I am so damn happy that I was wrong. Damn Nadal, I don't know what to say. Words do not describe your talent. It's incredible.

Congratulations!!!!

You shouldn't give up on a player like Nadal because he dropped the first 2 sets . Him and Federer have that ability of winning matches they probably shouldn't have won .

Good to see that some Nadal fans have as much faith in their man as their counterparts in the Federer camp did during the Miami final. :yeah:

Now I know WHY Ivan lost! Jinxers! :o

:p
I too had the feeling Ivan would win, until he couldn't break any of Nadal's service games he had a lead or a pressure position on, which was exactly after the point he won when the linesman(girl?) didn't call his ball out. He still hung strong when all the kung-fu routine to the "Vamos" anthem started out and the crowd went mad, but when he had the chance years later, he messed up badly and then it was Nadal's for the taking.
