I can't remember the source neither... but I think he likes the movie "Gladiator". :D

I know this is out off topic "Fav & Friends". But I think he once said that he didn't like the guys who were born at approximately the same year as him... (someone like Roddick, Coria, etc. )

Well I`m glad he gets along with Nalby.

Yep. He said there was a rivalry between all the guys of the '82 generation. That stayed from the time they were in juniors. :p

 at you guys.
Can't they both, Richie and Paulo, have the same favorite movie? :p

I do remember reading/hearing Paulo talk about Gladiator.

Oh wait!
There are stuff about his favorites on his official site!

The movies :"En fait, il y en a deux. Le Grand Bleu, qui reflète ce que je suis dans la vie, un mec tranquille. Et Gladiator, plus à l'image de mon comportement sur le court !"
(actually there are two. Le Grand Bleu -by Luc Besson-, which reflects the way i am in real life, a cool/relaxed guy. And Gladiator, which resembles more my behavior on the court )

His favorite actor - Bruce Willis (yay) Without hesitation

The type of music he listens to: "J'adore la musique. J'en écoute beaucoup et j'achète de plus en plus de disques. J'adore U2. J'aime beaucoup le dernier Coldplay. Je viens d'acheter l'album de David Gray et celui d'Avril Lavigne que je vous conseille."
(I love musc. I listen to it a lot, and buy more and more CDs. I love U2. I really like the latest Coldplay album. I've just bought David Gray's CD, as well as Avril Lavigne's which i recommend -to?- you)
( :worship: )

For those who can read French, you can see the rest of his tastes there : http://paulhenrimathieu.sports.fr/fr/gouts.asp
And sorry about the translations, i know they're not that good, but it's been 5 months since i stopped having english classes. I guess i'm not used to writing in english anymore...

Ohhh... il adore les crêpes... C'est pour ça qu'il venait de temps en temps à la crêperie de mon amie O_o

Oh, so I read about Paulo :D :bounce: Who knows they might even watch this movie together then ;)

Btw, did u guys see the movie?? Well, I think it was a good one but pretty far from being my fav

And he likes Avril too :rolls:

Well, they seem to have some things in common (ahem apart from being handsome and talented tennis players ^^). I mean, they both like Gladiator and Coldplay. :/

I saw that movie not long ago (a friend of mine, whose name i shall not give, absolutely loves it so when she heard i hadn't seen it she had me see it :p).
It was quite good actually but... i dunno, i won't say it's my fav' movie of all time.

I've got her CDs too :D I like her actually. The 1st album was so cool. But the 2nd, for me, wasn't as good as the 1st one. Anyway, I just thought that Avril is more like girls' fav. I don't know, my brother said so

Oh, that's funny, Ome, because i thought exactly the opposite. I like her second album better.

But yeah, she's not the best singer out there... And... It's true, silverwhite, that she can't sing that well (ohh i'm nice here ^^) live.

But she's made some good songs (mind, she's not my fav singer, far from it) :p

No.But I still buy her image and voice even she sucks to sing on live. :yeah: She's not like Spears or J.Lo...that type, they always show off boob or ass and they can't sing at all even in their songs recorded by X times. Their voice are still bad as well. :nerner: But sometimes their songs have nice rhythms so I still listen some! :)

I just love all those pop songs, just because they have a good rythm and everything... (and :tape: i have to admit i used to be a Britney fan)

Yup. I love some of her songs. It's just that I don't like her voice.
I know, it gets annoying sometimes :/

Bruce Willis...Hm... Well, he's made some good movies!
Well... Erm, the first one that pops into my mind is "Twelve Monkeys", by Terry Gilliam, which is one of my fav' movies.
Then, there's also... "The Fifth Element" by Besson (with Gary Oldman yay).
And he's been in "Pulp Fiction" by Tarantino.
I mean, 'c'est déjà pas mal' ^^

Quick translation, sorry, my english is not good...

My best memory.
My victory in Lyon is my best memory of tennis. Not the first one but it was my biggest emotion cos it was in France and I was very tired.

My best present.
At 8, my grand parents gave me a racket (Head) at Christmas. I was mad.

English.
Now I speak quite well, because I lived 3 years in the USA, it helps ! But before I couldn't say any word.

My favorite food.
Crêpes ! Sweet or savouries,both... but I 've a preference for crêpe au nutella..

My favorite movie.
In fact, there are 2; Big Blue, wich reflects how I am in life, a quiet guy. And Gladiator, which corresponds to my behaviour on the court.

My favorite actor.
Bruce Willis.

Music.
I love music...U2, Coldplay, David Gray, Avril Lavigne...

Books.
The last book I read is " And if it was true". I'm not a big reader but I like a lot Dan Millman who writes books of psychology. Yannick Noah too...and when I travel by plane, I like reading vsd, voici...( tabloids magazines)

My favorite country.
France ! When we begin to travel a lot, we're aware of the chance we have to live there. But I like Italy too. That's the country where the food is the best...except for crêpes !

My favorite city.
Buenos Aires. Special atmosphere. Very latino with an european touch.

Someone I'd like to meet.
I'd say Boris Becker. It's the player I had admirated the most when I was young. I loved his way to be on the court, to fight. Not really his game.

My nickname.
It's Paulo, but the medias use to say PHM, that's cool.

My favorite tournament.
Roland Garros. Because I'm french. Even if I don't know all big courts of the word, according to me RG has the most beautiful court. I noticed it when I played on the central the first time...I played well on it.

Friends on the tour.
I'm in good terms with all french players, Di Pasquale, Clement, Escudé... there is a real friendship between us. On foreign tournaments, we use to have a lunch together. It's the strenght of the french team of DC.

Other sports.
I'm not mad of sport. Obvisously I support French in big compitions, but that's all. I play at golf, it's good for relaxation.

Hobbies.
I'm rather quiet. When I've nothing to do, I like listening to music, watching DVD, going to the restaurant with friends...

VSD is a kind of "gossip" magazine...
He should stop reading psychology books and keep on reading this kind of press, not to think that much...
