P. Srichaphan def. D. Sanguinetti 4-6, 7-5, 6-3 to get to the final at Stockholm :)

Para got his revenge against davide whn he lost in five dramatic sets at the US Open 3rd rd this year to d italian. he now faces america's james blake in his 2nd final for d year. d only other final was in chennai which happen to be the 1st tournie he enter for 2005.

this is a good perfomance from para who i think didnt really have a good yr after a good start in 2005, his ranking hav droped significantly. it'll be great if he can finish this year with a title! c'mon para! :bounce:

he's a quote from atp site

Srichaphan: ”He doesn’t really make mistakes, his balls come really low and slow so you have to be really patient to play him. This is the first time that I beat him, I think I lost the first four times.

“I was really close to beating him last time in the US Open. It was a long match in five sets and I was really close. Today he was serving for the match in the second set and I just went for it and it seemed to work at the end.

“It will mean a lot to me if I can win this again. It’s already nice to be in a final. To play James Blake, I’ve played him a couple of times and most times in a final so it will be great to play him.”

 6-1, 7-6 (6) lost to blake, apparently his 1st serve percentage was a shockin 28% in d 1st set.
2 runners up this yr...sigh* maybe he still have a chance to win a title b4 season ends...
