This is the revange of the 2005 US Open 3rd round. That match during Grand Slam is said to be one of the most exciting matches during this US Open. What will be the result tomorrow? Thai seems to be regaining his form, while Sanguinetti leads 4-0 H2H.

If I remember correctly there was a hell of a lot of needle in their US Open match.

A little bit, but to be honest I think it was exaggerated and it had disappeared by the end of the match. My abiding memory from that encounter, and from the whole tournament, is when Sanguinetti had just saved breakpoint at 5-5 in the fifth with an absolute marathon rally and nodded with a droll wink at Srichaphan as he stepped up to serve, as if to say, "Yeah, no problem, let's do this again." Srichaphan saw that and mouthed a joky, very overdone, "Come on!" as he crouched down to return serve. I can't believe there would be any ill feeling at the end of a match like that, even if it's better to come out on the winning rather than the losing side.
