10-13-2005, 06:30 PM
Waht do you think who will win??
I hope Ferrero :)

10-13-2005, 06:31 PM
Ferrero will spank him

10-13-2005, 06:54 PM
Indoor Nalbandian is much stronger than Ferrero, so don't get your hopes too high...

El Nalbi! :aparty:

10-13-2005, 07:07 PM
Oh good luck ferrero! I don't think he'll be able to win nalbandian though

10-13-2005, 07:13 PM
Hope Ferrero, but I'd put my money on Nalbandian. JCF has been out of sorts lately, and I can imagine that Nalbandian will be ready to pounce when he looses his concentration.

10-13-2005, 07:16 PM
I hope David, but if he starts off badly against Ferrero, there's no turning back.

10-13-2005, 07:17 PM
I hope Juanqui kicks his ass

10-13-2005, 07:32 PM
vamos david, win this one :D

10-13-2005, 07:34 PM
i think nalby will win this one!

10-13-2005, 07:43 PM
gl to both, i dont care who wins i didnt vbet :(

10-13-2005, 07:47 PM
I hope JC wins. He has his ups and downs this year. One moment he gets beaten by a player, the other moment he plays extremly good. So I guess all will depend on how he shows up.

10-13-2005, 08:01 PM
fingers crossed for jc :yeah: :)
but my mind says nalby :awww: *tries to stay positive*

10-13-2005, 09:30 PM
Ferrero need this victory very much it would be very good for his confidence I hope he will win this tournament and next year will be back in form from 2003 :worship:

10-13-2005, 09:37 PM
Vamos Juanki !

10-13-2005, 09:52 PM
Interesting match. Both are having a year of ups and downs, Nalbandian leads the head to head, but Ferrero won the last match they played in Beijing. I wouldn't bet on anyone, both are very unpredictable players.

10-13-2005, 10:00 PM
complicated bet.

10-13-2005, 10:36 PM
Vamos Ferrero!!! :yeah:

10-13-2005, 10:46 PM
I hope David!!!

10-13-2005, 10:48 PM
I hope David!!!

I hope so, too, but then again.....David's tennis has been on "brain fart" lately.

10-13-2005, 10:49 PM
Ferrero in three I reckon.

10-13-2005, 10:49 PM
Hope Nalby will win it of course but it could be a tough one

10-13-2005, 11:16 PM
Ill be rooting for JC. Id be really happy if he won.

10-13-2005, 11:36 PM
Vamos Juanqui, you can do it! :yeah:

10-13-2005, 11:39 PM
Not too surre how interested is David in this tournament. His mind must be already in Madrid (esp. now without Federer). In a normal day, on this surface, David is more than Ferrero.

10-14-2005, 12:49 AM
Hard to say and bet too. :o Hearts on Juan, :rocker2: but recently he can incredibly choke in the match.

10-14-2005, 12:58 AM
Ferrero again.

Apparently, he's very interested. He's in the hunt for Shanghai, and I'm sure he's aware every point he earns is crucial.

This is so unpredictable. JC and Nalba's performances have been so volatile this year. If both played their best, I would expect Nalba to edge it on this surface but I don't expect either of them to be at their best.

This is JC's 8th QF appearance of the year. While he's been able to consistently win matches at every tournament this year, he hasn't been able to take those 2 extra steps and win tournaments. He must end the season well by getting his best results NOW.

If either of these players are to stand even a small chance of qualifying for Shanghai, they must win this match (and tournament). I like both players but...
COME ON JC!!! :shout:

10-14-2005, 01:10 AM
Nalbandian!!! :p

10-14-2005, 01:16 AM
This will be the tournament's "retard match".

10-14-2005, 01:58 AM
Does that mean the winner will be the retard winner? :p

10-14-2005, 02:07 AM
 Come on the retard king Juan! :rocker2:

10-14-2005, 02:43 AM
Does that mean the winner will be the retard winner? :p

Of course...and the other side of the draw will be just as "entertaining" in this respect.

This one is really hard to predict but I am hoping for a JCF win here.

Ferrero Forever

Ferrero, 6-3 6-4

10-14-2005, 09:17 AM
I have seen both playing yesterday and both won their 2nd round matches in straight sets. David had to deal with Austrian qualifier Eitzinger and showed quite some variety in his shots, but was pushed at the end, Ferrero efficently dispatched Lapentti and played a lot more consistently than in his 1st round match against Wawrinka, when he was non-existant in the first set. He seemed very determined to me.

Whover wins I will see in the SFs tomorrow and I am looking forward to it. It is difficult to predict, but I give a slight edge to Ferrero's tenacity.

10-14-2005, 09:29 AM
Thanks for the insight Margareta! And enjoy the tourney!

10-14-2005, 11:50 AM
