It´s in spanish...I´m too lazy right to translate it right now....

But mainly Roger says that People doesn´t have to generalize, because a few argies are positive, you don´t have to start judging every argentinian or the country, and it´s a mistake saying that they are all cheaters...

He said also that they have to wait becase they don´t really knoe what happened at the FO....They only know someone tested positive...And that they have to be very careful because there are a lot of test, and also said that he is disapointed that someone tested positive at the french open...he is dissapointed...

That´s it....anyone else heard something else?

He would make a good politician. He didn't really say much at all I guess. ( I did not translate it Gonzalo-just took your English bit). I thought Dent said it better and with class. I will try and use a translater to make sure I didn't miss anything and speak out of turn.
Thanks! :D

My spanish isn't so good but when I read the article my interpretation was a bit different  To me the article said:

"It didn't make me happy to hear someone doped in Roland Garros. It's not official yet but I'm disappointed. I mean after all there are so many controls that just cease to exist on the ATP so I can't understand how someone could actually get caught"

But we must be careful we can't accuse all Argentine players or attack the country. Just Nalbandian. Given his inherent lack of talent it’s the only explanation of why he had so many wins against me. So no, it's a mistake to attack Argentina, the country, saying that all of them are cheaters, it’s just one manchild."

I didn't bother to translate the rest... something about him domianting and players hating but he didn't care because "Yo esté Federer bíatch!" I don't know really what that means??

dkw, no, it doesn't mean that. At least not the second part.

It says: "I wasn't happy when I heard someone had doped in Roland Garros. It's not oficial yet, we don't know exactly what happened and we have to wait. We have to be very careful because we get controlled a lot, and the controls are very effective."

Edit: Roger :hearts:

The first 2 paragraphs and I'm off to bed. :wavey:

“You can’t accuse all the Argentine players nor can you judge an entire country. I believe that these are individual cases, and not everyone is guilty” said Roger Federer before the start of the TMS Madrid which starts next week.

“I was not happy to hear that someone doped up at RG. It’s still not official, we don’t know what happened, and we have to wait. We have to be very careful because there are lots of controls which are very effective” added the world’s number 1.

I think Federer ws very fair. He said what any reasonable person would in the circumstances. Unlike Ljubicic he didn't want to jump to any conclusion. The stance he took in this case, makes me appreciate Federer more. I just hope that everyone will lay off Mariano and all Argentinians, and until we have official confirmation of this case no one should jump to any conclusion. I cannot for the life of me understand how anyone can condemn one nationality based on a few cases of doping, or alleged doping carried out by some players of that country. I for one will always believe in the innocence of Mariano, or any other player for that matter, until guilt is proved without a shadow of doubt.

I'd like the players could be more interested in their sport. I listen to many of them complaining, and I say to get together to see what we can do. I don't understand why there are so many who talk so negatively about tennis, fewer times it was so interesting as it is now, even though I'm dominating. I think we can do things better than we're doing it now.
What is Roger referring to here? I don't know what the question was, so I'm not sure what he's responding to.

I think he was talking about doping in tennis and what people are saying about it, and well, tennis in general.

this is good news. and if he manages to clear his name, his attorneys can gouge a huge chunk of spare change from L'Equipe. ;)
