Wimbledon and French were great
There was lot of people anticipation for the Federer-nadal match, lot of discussion and so on
Wimbledon was predictible but it was nice to see Roge got on the GS board for the year, big relief and his final performance was fantastique!

USO- two weeks of great matches, some upsets, good tv coverage (at least better than the one that I usually get), and the fact that I got to go to the final :)

I am and I was very appreciative of the fact that my parents were nice enough to get tickets. It was officially because I had done so well with my report card and year end tests but honestly I think they would have gotten them either way. It was an amazing experience.

The U.S. Open got my vote. It had two weeks of great weather, many highly entertaining matches (including quite a few five-setters), and some great storylines. Plus I was there for the first few days... :)

On the other hand, how exciting was Nadal's run at RG?! :yippee:

I also think that the Federer/Safin match in Australia alone was enough to make that tournie a contender too.

Tough to choose my favorites won at three of the slams, It was tough though choosing between Safin and Hewitt, the Wimby final was just brilliant or near brilliant, and the US open final was just an emotional rollercoaster, but a great one.

I guess I'll go with Wimbledon. Though Safin went out so early as usual at wimby.

Wimbledon and the USO for me.

Wimby was great as there was great tennis played on the beautiful green lawn by Roger, and also Gonzalez' run was really entertaining and I enjoyed that. Safin finally feeling comfortable on it too was also a great thing for the future.

USO, seeing Blake and Ginepri fulfil their potential and Andre reaching one more GS final, although he couldn't quite pull it off.

USO - the five set nail-biting matches were among the best I've ever seen.
AO - the SFs with Federer, Hewitt, Safin and Roddick lived up to the hype.

Absolutely the Australian Open. After that Roland Garros. The other 2 grand slams were very boring and predictible...But AO...OMFG...That was so great, best tennis I have ever seen and match and match after match!

Changed my mind from when I posted on this subject previously: Australian Open gets my vote, with U.S. Open being a really, really close second.

My vote goes to the AO. USO was great too, but Wimbledon this year was :retard: Unfortunately I didn't get to see Roland Garros.

french...not only for the obvious reason!! but because it was on during my a-levels so it helped me de-stress..also i think eurosport uk did a good job of covering it!!

aussie wud be my second but i missed a lot of those matches eg-the safin/federer one (!!!) because of the time delays :fiery:

My first favorite is USO. I particularly enjoyed following matches. I was at Arthur ashe for all these matches. Im thrilled for Fed and Clijsters for winning the USO singles title.
Roddick Vs Muller(Was shocked to see that Roddick was sooo ready to get his ass kicked.. It felt like he was bending over to be spanked by his opponent)
Blake vs Nadal
Federer vs Santaro
Blake vs Agassi
Federer Vs Agassi
Clijsters Vs Venus
Clijsters Vs Sharapova

My second favorite this year is Australian Open. These are my fav matches.

Marat Vs Federer(Safin played awesome)
Marat Vs Hewitt(I made some money because of Safin's win.. LOL )
Serena Vs Sharapova

Wimbledon was ok. Mostly predictable. But liked following matches.
Lindsy Vs Venus final(It was a classic match especially in the third set)
Roddick Vs Federer final(Predictable but I love it when Fed kicks Andy's Ass.. LOL)

Least favorite is Rolland Garros. I had high hopes on Federer based on his performance untill semis. May be he didn't play a worthy opponent till then. But Federer was crappy in the semis. I was dissappointed not because he lost but for the way he lost. Except the second set which he won he was full of errors all the match. Nadal played awesome throught the RG. He well deserved the title. Im very happy for the young spaniard. But both the mens and ladies finals was the most boring grand slam finals of the year. Even though Puerta matched Nadal in some shots, he had nothing to beat Nadal. Nadal would have beaten any damn player on the planet that day.. Im glad JHH won the ladies title and I can't stand that Pierce...
