oh stop it control yourself man

lol. If a seed pull out, will Henman be moved to a seeded position? If so, I hope everyone stay put.

Henman vs. Roddick   but things could still change if Marat or Albert withdraws...

damn possible Nalbandian vs. Federer match, I knew this could happen when David lost to Fish and failed to get 9-12 seeds :( David already felt too much pressure in Cincy, and this is grand slam now, I hope he can react comfortably this time...

I'm almost positive Marat is gonna withdraw so I'm not looking forward to this great 1st round yet.

you can safely be assured if Marat withdraws
the USTA will make Henman a seed and replace him in draw.

the slams have their own rules on what to do and each makes it own rules up

they don't want bobblehead to lose in 1st rd

Poor Canas, his first game since God knows when, and he plays KFC :(

David felt too much pressure? Huh? I thought he lost to Fish because Fish had a damn good week. Did I miss something? :)

Canas hadn't played in months. So yes, he will. If this match was LAST year it would be a toss up.

No doubt that was rigged by the USTA ;)

Yoel etc.

I think so, since he has shown he's good on other surfaces than clay. I also think KFC got a pretty good draw, except of the Redhead.

In case Marat withdraws shouldn't Chela be the next seed in instead of Henman ?

I thought someone mentioned that Chela had more points in slams and masters than Henman

At least Rafaels FIRST match is winnable. After that it gets tricky ;)

I mean against Federer match, David owned Roger in the past, but Roger is a different player now, winning Wimbledon and being #2. David nearly choked to lose both sets in Cincy, he felt too much pressure and didn't play well when he tried to close out both sets.

What will be interesting will be CBS decision: Agassi or Roddick??? Because the part of the draw which is being played
monday (1st round)
tuesday (1st round)
thursday (2nd round)
saturday (third round)
monday (1/8F)

is always the one with Agassi because CBS have 3 days weekend coverage with the labor day, so they wanna show Agassi twice (notice he never plays night session during third round and 1/8F).

But now that Agassi might start the tournement being injured, I think Roddick will be the one getting the saturday/monday coverage. That means bottom half starting monday and tuesday.

they are in diff halves
so its Andre on one day and Bobblehead on the other
double torture

Yes I know that was my point... Maybe I wasn't clear, but there is one of the 2 parts of the draw who get 2 days of coverage (saturday and monday) and the other one only 1 day of coverage (sunday), on CBS that is. So I'm wondering who they will choose between Roddick and Agassi.

I believe it's Federer who was struggling in the Cincy match. Roger will be praying someone take David out before R16. ;)

Both were struggling at that moment ;). David had two breaks in the 1st set but each time he got broken back immediately, in the 2nd set he lead 5-2, but only won at TB.

This kind of rivalry could change at big tournament, there are many examples, recently there is Ferrero vs. Gaudio at last year's RG. I just hope it won't happen this time ;).

Awful draw Tim

I think that you have the game to beat Roddick though, and playing him in the first round means all the pressure will be on A-Rod.

Greg (Good draw, although you will probably have to face your nemesis in round 2 Mr Clement) :)

Come on the Brits :)

Hello...newbie here:

I plan on getting tickets for my girlfriend and myself for the first round and we have our hearts set on the roddick match. Does anyone have any idea on what day and session the match will take place? It sucks having to pay inflated ticket prices and I would like buy the tickets asap. thanks ahead of time for any info.

It's a crap shoot, Gonzo.

TV rules, and you have to think what are they most likely to put on TV and when. Someone posted a whole analysis of when Agassi and Roddick might play depending on who CBS wanted to showcase on the Labor Day weekend.

Sadly, the only way to be assured of seeing Roddick is to buy tickets for all four sessions on the first two days.
