As Robbie Williams once said... "Monsooooon!!!!!"
Who the hell are these people!!! Look at the seeds. Unbelievable. So crap! Could ToJo not get in elsewhere? Yes, I'm just disheartened because of all the no-good pain in the ass (but lovely and so polite...and tall) players, he had to go and play mine.

It rained here earlier tonight. I told it to go to India. :wavey: (I'm soooo desperate)

Hello btw - I've been waiting to post on this forum so long (about 2 weeks before my account was *finally* activated) and am so happy I finally can! I really like Thomas and I could hardly believe my luck when I saw that he has his own forum! Anyway (in an attempt not to drag the thread further off-topic lol) I really think this has to be Thomas' title too, esp since he played so well in the DC and we know he's fantastic on hard/indoor courts anyway. :)

Has Thomas arrived in Vietnam yet anyway?

Hi Ceri... does it really take that long to activate your account? I could use mine straightaway after registering :S

Thomas should win this, but I don't want to jinx him :tape:

I just checked the ATP site head-to-head profile and it says Thomas and Alex have never played before: http://www.atptennis.com/en/players/headtohead/head2head.asp?player1=Popp%2C+Alexander&player2=Johansson%2C+Thomas&playernum2=J129
I don't mean to be disrespectful to Alex, but surely Thomas will win this match, he's the better player by far! :)

Update on who Thomas & Jonas face next:

Second-seeded Thomas Johansson of Sweden defeated Germany's Bjorn Phau 6-3, 6-2, while third-seeded Radek Stepanek of the Czech Republic beat Italy's Uros Vico 6-2, 6-1 in the first international tennis tournament in Vietnam.

Johansson will meet fifth-seeded Cyril Saulnier of France, who defeated Czech Jiri Vanek 7-6 (3), 7-6 (10). Saulnier had 10 aces in the second set, including four in the tiebreak.

"It was very hot and humid," Saulnier said. "I tried to fight until the end, and I think it was good for me to finish after having five match points."

In other matches, Jonas Bjorkman of Sweden defeated Cecil Mamiit after the American retired with a back injury. Bjorkman will play German Alexander Waske, who defeated countryman Lars Burgsmuller 7-6 (3), 7-6 (3).

I have to wonder if Jonas' chances are improved or not, with Radek beating ToJo. You know, is Radek in top form from beating ToJo, or ToJo played like crap. Hopefully the latter! LOL
