No there was no doubt of the eventual result, but it was not definitely not clear that it would be the first 3 matches itself that Schweiz will win and finish it off (in fact it is still not clear). I am sure many think that andi will win his match against stani, keeping GB hope alive

Davydenko proved a lot in this match as he did in the quarters against France, pulling through for Russia again despite the wrist problems. What a champ all of a sudden! And I was pleased that Mikhail at least got 2 sets from the DC Beast Ljubicic, although it only ended as yet another 5th set disappointment... he's 0-3 in 5-setters this year. :rolleyes: :fiery: Winning that final set would have been huge for Russia, obviously, and I'd still consider Croatia the heavy favorites to take the tie.

Ferrero :confused: What the fuck happened that he only won 5 games in the last 3 sets?! What's even more inexplicable is that he was chosen to play at all; Ferrer was clearly the better choice on clay (and on any surface but indoors) at the moment.
