I found a translation of an article about the meeting on another website (vamosrafa.com):

maradona jr meets nadal
"It was a dream I wanted to realize". I had read from the newspapers that Rafael Nadal was keen on football and above all a big fan of my father's. The Davis Cup was a big opportunity to approach him. "I have to thank the organizers of the meeting, at the top Carmine Palumbo, which have allowed me to shake his hand". This afternoon Diego Maradona jr's eyes were sparkling with joy. The meeting between Nadal and Diego has been one of the most particular moments of the day. A handshake, several photographs and the exchange of gifts: "I gave him a shirt of mine, and showed him my rackets". I like tennis very much: I am partner of a circle in Naples where I got good results. He signed my shirt, he has been very kind and a very simple guy, I was so nervous that I wasn't able to speak ".

Diego got a promise from Nadal: " He said he will play with me in one of these days ". "Words cannot explain my joy". Also Rafael Nadal is satisfied: " It's true, I have been a very big Maradona fan, he was the sportsman I admired teh most when I was little ". " And it's nice to know that Diego jr. is my same age, 19 years old".

And

Maradona Jr tries to play tennis with Rafa Nadal, whom he idolizes

Italy.- Diego Maradona Jr, son of the former world football star, turned up out of the blue today at the Spanish Davis Cup team's practice session in an attempt to hit a few balls with his idol, Rafael Nadal.

"Can we play together?" Maradona Jr asked the world number 2 after unexpectedly introducing himself to him during the Spanish team's training session in Torre del Greco, Italy, where on Friday they take on Italy.

Nadal had to tell him that he was about to start a training session, but it was not all that easy for the tennis star to say no because he had a really big fan in front of him.

Maradona Jr had already presented him with a football shirt and boots of his that he had autographed for him. In his sports bag he also had a racquet identical to the one Nadal uses and a set of the latest Nike models of the distinctive tennis gear the Spanish star usually wears.

The son that Maradona conceived out of wedlock with Cristiana Sinagra at the end of the 80's, told Nadal that he is not very interested in football these days - it bores him - and that tennis is now his great passion.

Great to see that Maradona jr. looks so much like his dad.

He's wearing a pink shirt, am I the only one who noticed?

It's seems like it's only the english speaking (guys) countries that have a problem with pink.

Where I live, it's considered 'hot' when guys wear pink -- and they do quite often. I certainly agree, it shows how comfortable they are with themselves. ;) :yeah:

That's cool that Maradona Jr. wanted to play with Rafa :)
He was cuter when he was younger, though

Maradona has already been with Coria and Cañas in his show, so his son should go someday so he can meet other players :p

I think pink shirt and light pink pants says something.

You think? He did seem quite excited to meet Rafa, and he does have his hair like the guy from Babylon Zoo. So who knows? The speculation about Rafa himself aint gonna die down til he finds himself a seniorita.

In the US? Very modern, over in UK/Ireland, pink and guys is limited to a tie or smart shirt (although definetly accompanied by a suit). Pink can be very fetching on a bloke though, especially if they're darker skinned.
