4* 0-0 (Even)
3* 0-0 (Even)

Getting an early start for the week. Writeup to come later this week on this game.

Saturday

2* Michigan St. (-10) (-120) Over Illinois - Bought 1/2 pt

Michigan St. was extremely impressive with there overtime win over Notre Dame on the road last week. The game should have never gone into OT but that was really just a case in which the MSU team was laid back due to the large lead they had. I don't expect them to perform the same way again when having a large lead. MSU's offense has been nasty this season. They are averaging 45 ppg, 237 rushing ypg and 308 passing ypg. Defensively they've been good but not great. Illinois almost pulled off an upset last week before totally collapsing losing 38-25 after leading 17-7 at the half. Illinois is improved under Zook but are in no way's capable of playing with the upper echelon Big Ten teams yet. Michigan St. is just much better on both sides of the ball and should win this one by two td's.

Good Luck to All!!!!

Writeup to come later.

Saturday

2* Northern Illinois (-6) (-120) Over Akron - Bought 1/2 pt

Ok Northern Illinois is just 1-2 this season but there two losses were against Northwestern and Michigan two very respectable losses. In the Northwestern game NI scored to pull within an extra pt of tying the game but the coach decided to go for the win by going for the 2 pt conversation. Gutsy call and it failed but much respect goes out to him to go for it. NI has a solid offense lead by Novak and Wolfe. There running game is what should be there driving force in this game as I don't see Akron being able to stop it. Akron won last week but it was partially due to the poor play of MTSU. NI will be looking to get the conference season off on the right foot and a win at Akron is needed as there schedule this season is not friendly. I think Northern Illinois wins this by 14 pts.

Good Luck to All!!!!

Just outta curiousity is there a reason you're on Mich St?

As I saw it last week Illinois played a very strong Cal team, a better than Mich St cal team, very tough and only fell apart towards the end. This is a tough d and with last weeks collapse I think they might realize they can play with the big boys. Zook teams always play good d and at home I think this ones got upset written all over it. Wanted your thoughts.

FLM - I'll get into my reasoning later. Sorry for the delay.

Writeups will be coming shortly for all games.

Friday

1* Iowa St. (-17) (-110) Over Army

Just don't think Army matches up on either side of the ball here. Through 2 games this season Army has given up an average of 32 pts while only scoring and average of 8.5. Iowa St. should impose there will here in this game. They were extremely impressive on both sides of the ball in there 23-3 win over in state rival Iowa. They have a big game next week but I don't expect them to look ahead. Iowa St. cruises in this game.

Saturday

1* Ohio University (-3) (-135) Over Kent St. - Bought 1/2 pt

Ohio has won 3 of there last 4 against Kent St. Ohio is much improved this season although there results really don't show it. They upset Pittsburgh but was blown out by Northwestern and Virginia Tech which was expected. The Va Tech loss although brutal really wasn't so bad as Ohio hung around early but finally just gave in. The one worry here is Ohio's inability to score this season but I think that's due in part to the teams they faced. I believe Ohio will get things going offensively this week against a Kent team that has struggled defensively. Kent has given up an average of 469 ypg. There getting beat both in the air and on the ground. Offensively Kent has been just as bad. Forget about running the ball as they are averaging an measely 23 ypg. The Ohio defense should be able to contain this Kent offense in this game. This game will probably be close but with Ohio home and more offensive and defensive options I think they'll cover the FG line.

1* Arizona St. (-6) (-120) Over Oregon St. - Bought 1/2 pt

This will be a high scoring affair no doubt about that but the Sun Devils have done a good job out scoring there opponents this season. I think ASU has an offense that rivals one like Louisville and Louisville amassed 553 yards and 63 pts against OSU last week. ASU put up 52 pts and 771 yards against a pretty good Northwestern team last week. Just think ASU offensively is unstoppable at this point against a weak defense. ASU despite being on the road will cover the #.

1* Idaho (-1) (-120) Over Hawaii - Bought 1/2 pt

Hawaii has struggled mightily but that is also due in part to playing Michigan St and USC. But still without Chang there offense resembles nothing like the offenses of the past few years. Defensively things haven't been much better as Hawaii has just been beaten up by the opposing offenses. Idaho is nothing special as they are an average offense and average defense but they've always had a solid home game. Just think with Hawaii's struggles on offense the more balanced and home team Idaho will prevail here.

Good Luck to All!!!!

alright finalized plays for me:

notre dame -12.5 over the washington

huskies just plain stink and the irish will lay a lickin on em.

Illinois +10.5 over mich st.

Like the look of this defence and mich state will have a let down after a huge win last week.

Ohio State -6.5 (buying a half point) over Iowa

Bottom line, the defence is just too good for Iowa to get past.

Purdue ml over minnesota

simply a value bet here, minny hasnt beaten the boilermakers in the last 7 tries, minny is a running offense, purdue is the best team against the run in college ball. Defence wins games.

Clemson -2.5 over bc

I love the way clemsons playing right now, fighters on both sides of the ball and whitehurst is just money.

wow, clearly mich state isnt having a let down game like they traditionally do and zooks d is a joke cause the spartans are humiliating the illini. Knew I shoulda went with the canes instead of the illini in the teaser

Ohio states in cruise control
Purdues picked it up and its a close game right now
Clemson and bc knotted up at 10s.

Flm - about the Mich St and Illini game. It's not just about how bad the Illini D is, it's also how good the MSU offense is. They are a Top 5 offense in college football. These guys are just flat out impressive. Even there 2nd string is demolishing the Illini defense. Good Luck on the rest of your plays.

Saturday

Division I-AA

3* Northern Arizona (-6) (-115) Over Weber St. - Available at 5Dimes

I don't expect this game to be close. NAU is clearly much better then Weber St. Despite this being a road game NAU should win this by 14+ pts.

Good Luck to All!!!!

yeah I had the beat on the mich state offense but they're notoriously bad for let down games and figured zook would have his boys ready to go congrats on the call tho.

Purdue made a game of it but in ot fell apart
Clemson also lost in ot

Ohio state and notre dame ( if they hold up 8 minutes left 29-3) are money tho
