What happened to Taiwanese prospects?

I've been tracking Yen-hsun Lu and Yeu-Tzuoo Wang for a couple years now and after some initial success they seem to really have slowed progress, especially this year.

Is Wang injured a lot this year?

Are they still considered prospects for top 100? Or is the daily grind of the tour wearing them down?

I read something last year Nick Bolletteiri thinks Wang is top 100 very soon but he has played poorly this year.

I think both of them "stuck" in the "points saving" thing. During this year, they played futures or challengers, only saving points they received last year.

I really think they must forget about ranking(they wants to be Taiwan No1 all the time), try to play ATP tourments is the best way to break into top100.

What abour problems with recurrent injuries  . This will certainly slow them down unless they take a good care of it.

Anyway, both of them are in Tashkent this week, seeded one (Yen-Hsun) and two (Jimmy). Let's see what they can achieve. They get a wonderful opportunity to make it in a Grand Slam Main Draw.

I agree with you Grace that this internal rivalry is not helping out a lot  .
