Latest news about Nicolas Escude, from Nico himself...

I had already posted about how he was to return to practise and all before, but the infos I had were coming from specialized magazines. This time, I have decided to have you share the latest infos here, as I know some of you are eager to know how things are going for Nico. :)

He's just been interviewed, right after the match of Fed Cup between Dementieva and Mauresmo, as he's a proud supporter of the French team. So, basically, he said that it's only 3 weeks now that he's gone back to training and touched a racket. His main objective is to come back, fully fit, to competition for the AO. But the progress are really slow...He's supposed to practise serve only from the end of October, not before. Thus, he and the doctors will know if the main objective will be reachable. He's practising in RG, around 1.15 h per day for the moment. That's all I've got for now folks! :)

He's been missed, I hope he comes back soon.

I remember watching him beat Henman in Rotterdam final a few years back, perhaps should have won a GS with the talent he had.
