The players who played last week - maybe.

The players that were eliminated the first week of the US open, no.

Again, that Chela form was on hard court. He's sucky on clay. Well, he managed to pull off a few good results in Hamburg, but that was about it. Otherwise, he sucked.

Clay is Chela's favourite surface???

Up until hard court swing he had an awful year on all surfaces, he was just not playing well, to say he is cucky on clay is unbelievable he is probably one of the top 16 on clay when in form, i am not saying he will win this match, but you are obviously going off recent results rather than knowing Chela's game to say he is sucky on clay.

His three titles have all come on clay and have you forgot he reached QF of French Open last year. So i wouldn't say he was sucky.

I was referring to his recent run of results on clay. He was playing poorly. There's no telling what's going to happen right now.

Generally speaking, Chela has usually pulled off around the same kind of results on hard as he does on clay. The exceptions to that have been last year (where he did much better on clay) and this year (where he's done much better on hard). Your claim that he'd had an awful year on all surfaces up until his recent hard court swing is equally unfounded. You probably forgot about his semi-finals in Adelaide and Auckland. He also gave Leyton Hewitt a fair battle in the Aussie Open.

Given prior to Oz Open great form, but he didn't give Hewitt much of a battle whatsoever i watched that game and it was too comfortable for Hewitt, secondly you need to know how a guy plays on a certain surface rather than go and look at statistics and then you will know he has never sucked on clay, and like i said previously all off his three title's have been on clay meaning his best and most succesful surface is clay, not hardcourts.

Skel, firstly, please refrain from filling up these gambling threads with your amateur arguments.

Secondly, Chela is an underrated hardcourter, even though he clearly favours the dirt.

I love the pick bro but I'm very concerned about Arthurs being the underdog. Something is not right. For that reason alone, I am not touching this...too fishy.

Damn this week's tournaments. Such sub-standard websites. The Chinese one being unquestionably the worst.

Beijing is a very nice city, I would love to have attended this even this year.

It is a far more interesting event than Nottingham and Queens.

I wouldn't dispute that. Though, as I said, the website standard is (or was the last time I checked) diabolical :).

Nottingham's one of the biggest pieces of shit cities on the planet. I'm sure it could compete with China's worst, if not out-do them in each category of suck. It's the natural result of a government unwilling to spend on sorting out the country's real problems.

If you're looking for somebody who's going to irrationally defend the indefensible, try Skel ;)
