:lol: you can say so. I watched the match last night (yes in Europe, it was the evening when Lleyton played.). When one was playing great, the other one was playing bad. (Nieminen was really wonderful in the 1st set, while Lleyton was making errors and wasn't sharp at all...)

That's what I read in an article. They want to let the first finalist (an American) rest longer than the 2nd finalist.

That's only intelligent, but if anyone remembers AA's last final v. Pete, when he was much younger & healthier, a few hrs. won't make much difference. Goddamn the USO for not having men's semis on Fri. evening. It so compromises the quality of the final.

i guess any country would do the same, though unless roger and lleyton play an increadibly long match it would hardly make a difference. the good thing about this schedule is it means i'll actually get to watch roger. i get off work at 3 tomorrow so that's good thank goodness i decided not to work untill 8. :yippee:

I have a lot of confidence for Roge for the match with leyton. I sometimes am worried with other matches, but now I feel calm and confident that Roge will play very well and win this. I don't want him to humilate leyton, though. Just play great and win and be a great champion. I don't think I expect any bagel score this year, but don't need. I hope it is a great match, and we get to see some great magic fly off Roge's racket. Allez!

Just read over in GM area, that they switched matches in part so that if AA's match was long, they'd stay w/in their scheduled 6 hour window, by Not Broadcasting the rest of Roger's match; if they broadcast AA's last they couldn't cut him off. Anyone know anything about this, or what we can do to insure this doesn't happen. Supposedly, last yr. final got a very low rating - lowest since Rafter-Rusedski.

I don't think he is. Plus he's better than anyone at adjusting if he has to and stepping it up when he needs to. Lleyton didn't look that great in his QF match....in fact I don't think he's looked great all tournament. I'm hoping nerves/self doubt get the better of him.

I had a feeling Roger would get broken after Lleyton had that easy service game. It was one of the first of the match and I think it gave him some confidence. Then Roger played a sloppy game. We'll see if he can serve it out.

I am not really worried about this match, but I want him to come back and win this set quickly. They have been on court for more than 2 hours already. I hope this won't affect tomorrow's play from Roger. :(

It's as if Roger isn't concentrating. He seems to be very careless out there. He is playing much better than he did in the second set, but he is just being careless at the key points. :(
