OFFICIAL GOOD NEWS!!
This came in the early hours of the morning from Marat's management:
Good News - No operation is necessary. Instead Marat will have a cast on his wrist for two weeks. If all goes well, he could be back in less than 6 weeks.

Very good news indeed :) Hope everything will be fine soon

A cast is the thing you were around the wrist to support it and to calm the wrist...
if i`m not wrong he also isn`t allowed to really move his wrist for the next time. that should be complicated for Marat LOL.

What:confused: I don't know if this is good news. Doesn't he have a torn ligament? This is what Serena has, except behind her knee. She will require surgery. Why doesn't he???
Well, I hope he is doing what is best. I don't want Marat's name to become synonymous with "retired from match".

Well, the doctors told him that he don`t need a surgey and that threatment and rest is enough to heal, it just takes the time, so why should he not listen to them? They are profis, they know what is to do. The thing is that he did return too early, the wrist wasn`t fully healed yet. He wanted to play again too early. So now there is resting again for some weeks.
The news is that he has to wear a plaster cast, like for broken bones.

didn't he asked advice before he started to play again??
or did he just not listen to them
