Ok so here's what happened.......

After the London Underground fucked me about for a bit (I knew I should've driven but I had no idea how to get there, it's the other side of London) I finally made it to Isa's hotel just after 7.30pm. Unfortunately, I couldn't see her so I asked the receptionist what room she was in, but she wanted her surname otherwise she wouldn't be able to find it. I couldn't for the life of me remember her surname and desperately waited around hoping she'd come down or phone me or something. It even involved a desperate text to Jess hoping she knew her surname but she didn't

Anyway, just before 8ish Isa came down and we met. She thought we had arranged to meet at 6.30 (I'm convinced we agreed 7.30 :p ) so she'd been waiting for me outside for ages, but then a bird pooed on her :o so she had gone upstairs to change

Oh, and I was wearing a pink t-shirt, I pointed out that Brian would get excited

We just went out for dinner to some Italian place, wasn't bad. Then went out for a drink at this ridiculous English pub, some tropical party or something was going on, it was rather bizarre :rolls:

Then we just went back to hers for a bit.

I have no idea why I felt compelled to give you all the details  ......but I did.

I hardly use the oven in my place, at least the big one with the range. I have a small toaster oven where I do most of the baking, which is minimal.

I only do laundry during weekend. Basically, anything that use electricity and need not be done on a daily base. The electricity rate is 3 times higher during weekdays from 9am-9pm. Since gas pipeline doesn't run in my neighbourhood, everything use electricity including the water heater.

We have oil heat for hot water. And We do that one load in the evening;) I put it on at bedtime and then throw it in the dryer when I go to work at 6am. Hubs does the folding. When I do sheets/towels etc-that's on the weekend.
I use my ovens alot. Tonight is once again a spanokopita- phyllo dough layered with feta, parmesean, herbs, farmer's cheese and spinach.

The Italian place was Firezza, I knicked the matches for some random reason.

 I woke up like every half hour from 4 am on so there was no need for the front desk guy to even knock me up. But I appreciated that he did just the same.

I took the 35 bus to about half a block from Clapham Junction, then took a train to Victoria and Gatwick Express to the airport. I was there in plenty of time to have a look around the duty free shopping but I didn't end up buying anything.

I sat next to a guy from Sussex who was nice. I watched Failure to Launch but slept through most of Firewall and Pink Panther. :o And an hour before the flight ended they served pizza.

Nate is a Bar Mitzvah this summer and he and dad are talking about his mitzvah project, and his sermon. Steve does all the sermons with the kids. Sam has picked out the new Freaky Friday movie but now they are watching the end of a stargate episode. Thus I am here. :worship:

Julio sent the flowers to my hotel in Paris, where I was staying with Paul & Olga. So they saw them there and I took them to London where Adam got to see them. Sadly I had to leave them since I wouldn't be allowed to bring them into the US.

That's impressive. I had hard time whenever I travelled to Hong Kong. But that's 14/15 hours difference between there and the west coast.

The only time I remember having probs was when I moved to London, I was going to sleep at like 7.30 or 8 pm and getting up at like 5.30 or 6 am for the first week or so. And another time I was only there for like 5 days and my return flight was delayed due to ice & snow so I didn't get home until 2 am in the morning and had to work at 1 pm the same day so that was pretty rough for about 2 days.

It wasn't, but Feds was never up 2 sets to love, 4-1 in the Rome final. That's why.

Damn, I just found out my friends bascially don't give a shit about me. I'm leaving on Sat morning and we were gonna get together in a friend's house On Friday night you know, as a goodbye reunion... something calm because I was obviously gonna be nervous the night before and I wouldn't go out... but apparently they decided that it was okay to tell some guy friends to go out to some club with them when they came to pick me up. Sort of like "yeah we'll get rid of Caro and go party." And I know them, they'll be all excited about going out and give a shit about the fact I'm leaving. I'll just save them the whole thing and tell them they can go wherever they want, I'll just stay home. :o Thank god some of the girls did understand that it wasn't okay but still.
