Okay here is an interesting story.

My mom and I are both currently in the living room, both on our laptops connected to the wireless Internet watching Prince Harry on TV. Well okay, he's also with his father, brother and Ant and Dec, but Harry is all I was watching. Anyway I see I have an MSN message... ITS FROM MY MOTHER! We're in the SAME ROOM and she is talking to me on MSN.

This takes her nerdiness to a whole new level. Sometimes she'll MSN me if we're in different rooms, but this was ridiculous. :rolls:

Yay soon I am going to go purchase some currency in euros and then get the largest memory stick possible for my camera so that I can take approximately 300000000 pictures.... and some new mascara.

Although compared to http://www.weather.com/weather/tenday/08844?from=36hr_topnav_undeclared it is quite a bit cooler. But NJ is hot. 60s isn't cold, it is comfortable... lol it's like Syracuse weather. I use two mascaras :p I just use a volumising and then a lengthening on top. It works pretty well! Quite a discovery since the 2nd one is quite dry so good at seperating the lashes. I have quite long eyelashes anyway so when i put it on they rub against my glass lens'

I rarely wear it, but I want to start wearing it more, and I think I don't wear it as much because I haven't found one yet that really DOES anything, and I had to go to Sephora for my eyeliner (I like their eyeliner because it's really soft so it goes on really nice.) so I figured I'd go in and look at their mascara and they had this whole display of all the different brands and different symbols for ones that volumize and ones that lengthen and there were ones for shine (wtf shiny eyelashes?) and curling and maximum length and all that. It was handy to have them all in one place like that.

Good news all, my mother has found me £3.11 she had been hiding since she came to visit me.

That is ALMOST enough to get me from Heathrow to my hotel. Where was that 73p I found the other day. I have a bag full of coins somewhere in my room too. I also have a bag of Canadian money so I have to make sure I grab the right one.

That is a great display and it is so nice to have it all in one place. I hate trying to find a good mascara. I've tried just about every formula and brand out there! I did get this really great mascara base at Sephora the other night. It is by Shiseido and it is by far the best I've found. It really helps to lengthen and adds volume as well, but it doesn't weigh the eyelash down like some of the other ones. It is a little spendy, but when you get as annoyed with your eyelashes as I do, it is worth it!! :)

There's no byline... but I know this is his work. http://www.celebrityweek.com/hot_from_hollywood/show_interviews.asp?id=186

This magazine is such junk. He got fired from People after he shared all their secrets with my celebrity journalism class (he was my professor.. and he is the most arrogant guy I have ever met) so he decided to start up a celebrity magazine about what celebs do in Las Vegas. Like... erm is there really a market? It's about a billion steps down from People but whenever a new issue comes out he emails it out in bulk to our class so I'm unfortunately still in touch with this dude. He did give me an A, so maybe I shouldn't hate on him too much ;) But he is seriously a gigantic tool, who I think started calling Tom "Tommy" out of nowhere. Honestly I am pretty into McFly and I have NEVER seen him called Tommy before in any article, any TV show, any website.... like this is completely new.

His bio... :rolls: Sean Daly has never slept with Paris Hilton - or any other celebrity * but he has interviewed more than 1500 of them for publications including People, Us Weekly, In Touch and The New York Daily News. A graduate of Syracuse University, Sean returned to his alma mater in the fall of 2004 to create and teach Celebrity Journalism: Beyond The Red Carpet, but quickly found he was way too old to hang out in the campus bars. He remains a die-hard Syracuse basketball fan. Go Orange!

Did he find out he was too old to hang out in the campus bars before or after he either hit on, dated, or slept with half the girls in my class. Okay that completely eased my nerves because I love laughing at this guy. I took the class hoping for a contact in the industry and he turned out to be quite possibly one of the most ridiculous people I have ever met. :rolls:

I don't think Isa and I are actually ever in the same cities at the same time? But I will :)

I'm in London on May 27th from approximately 8.10 am until 4.12 pm, then in Paris from about 8 pm on May 27th through about 8 am on June 2nd. I'll be back in London 10 am on June 2nd through 10 am on June 4th.

My French is so crap I'm going to be starting every conversation with: Parlez-vous anglais ou espagnol? :o

I never did get around to learning how to ask to speak English in Greek.

Although I did make an awful pun at dinner with my mother last night about it all being Greek to me. She didn't laugh the first time so I attempted it again and said, "Mom, I don't think you got it!!" and she's like... oh I did... and it was awful both times. :rolls:

I also feel like I am forgetting to pack something MAJOR. :(

I have no idea what to wear today. :( It has to be something I'm going to be comfortable to fly in, but also that I actually want to be wearing until 3 pm on Wednesday when I can check into my hotel. I want to wear my Syracuse sweatshirt on the plane because it's warm and comfortable and a little bit big on me, lol, but I don't really want to wear that all day tomorrow too when I am getting a new card for my phone, etc. This is such a dilemma!
Hotel?!?!?!

The weather here was quite funny today. It absolutely poured for about 5 hours, then it went sunny for an hour. Then it poured again. And now it's quite nice

Whenever you'd like.

Those other questions are actually very good ones. The rest of the group doesn't arrive until the 25, and I think that night we have some sort of orientation thing that I actually really do need to go to... beyond that I don't know, but I think we go to France on the 27.

Erm.....I'm free tomorrow night (probably)....Thursday I'm working during the day and playing footy later on....Friday I'm working then probably have to have my Friday night Jewish meal. So the next few days are a bit hectic. I've got my friend's bro's barmitzvah (the synagogue part) on Saturday morning but other than that I'm free on Saturday.

Actually I freaked out today because I realized my parents want to redo my room while I'm gone and paint and get new carpet and stuff and I don't want them going through my stuff and finding that.

So I was freaking out trying to think of somewhere to put it that I didn't think they would be snooping around in, so in a zipped up purse, in my closet it is stashed away. I don't think my mom and especially not my dad are prepared to find out their little girl owns one of those
