Life is a journey, and like all journeys, at some point, they come to a crossroads. If you're ever faced with such a situation, you should know that there's 1 man you can count on - me, Dr. Jim.

You'll also be glad to know I've had years of expertise in this field as a professional. So if there's anything on your mind that's troubling you, feel free to give me a shout.

All the best,

Dr. Jim

Well apparently sex can be a very good cure for such problems, although it may involve consuming a different sort of chemical, a natural one :).

However if you're fresh out of that and are not in the position to run down to the local store and get some more, then I recommend drinking plenty of tomato juice, and watching some therapeutic tennis tapes such as Ivo Karlovic's ever popular - "backhand down the line".

Let me know how it goes.

Dr Jimbo......

I think I'm falling in love with a guy I met on a messageboard. His name is its.like.that. I don't usually swing that way, but this guy is turning me gay. He's incredible in every way. Funny, clever, good looking. Only problem is, I'm not sure if he likes me. What should I do?

Since it's not possible for me to have sex at the moment (my bf's too far away) I'll try drinking some tomato juice (probably it'll make me feel even worse but in that case I'd be sure to consult you again) and watching tennis sounds like a great idea to me and I'm sure it'll help me to fight my headache. Unfortunately I don't have any taped Karlovic matches but perhaps the current live matches on TV will do too.

Thank you so much, doc. :wavey:

hi adeegee :wavey:,

Well mate, the only advice I can give, is that you need to listen to your heart. If you truly love this person - then you may want to let them know, whether it be in a subtle way - such as a good rep, or whether you create a thread declaring your love for them.

The ball's in your court champ.

Be strong, LiveSTRONG - with EPO.

Sound advice Doc. I love him so much that I've been bombarding him with good reps, and now I'm being told I need to spread my love around. That's why I've been hitting on PaulieM ;)

I'll take the 2nd option though. Thank you so much Doc, you've changed my life :D

well, if selling chocolate bars isn't your thing, then try opening up a charity thread, asking for good reps, perhaps in return for a service that you can provide ;).

otherwise, just post more, and think of some popular threads to open up on GM.

answer to such problems close to heart, can only come from within. trust your feelings. if you think you should smoke him, then go for it. but if you do it the proper way, then you will confront him, and force him fess up to his problems, make him feel the heat, and the rest should take care of itself.

I tried drinking tomato juice and watching old Karlovic tapes, but it is not doing any good and I think I need something stronger.

the world we live in is somewhat governed by the proverb 'each to their own'.

if you feel the need to start such threads, then it may be worth doing so, providing it will bring you some sort of self gratification - there is no point in acting like an arse clown for no reason, is there?

then again, the withdrawal symptoms from not expressing your ideas may unbalance your inner karma - which could well bring about far more harmful and long term consequences.

the only remedy I can provide you with at this stage, is a strong dosage of "Gerraint Jones' classic catches" - either in the audio or video form. if problems persist, and the urges reach a level that starts to affect your everyday life, then simply inhale 10g of orange sherbert 3 times a day prior to meals - if you are fresh out of this wonder drug, I recommend a visit to BG's pharmacy, and don't forget to ask for the 50% discount - tell him I sent you, he will understand ;).

get well soon.

Dr Jimbo, I have a new problem.......I have met a lovely new girl. Unfortunately she seems to quite like a man I have a lot of respect for. I dont want to do anything to upset him, but I feel this girl is missing out on a lot, I am better looking than this other guy, funnier, more intelligent, better endowed, and richer. Should I make a move or should I let my friend be happy with her? Your thoughts would be appreciated. Thank you Sir.

Me, who dresses fine and do my hair occaisionaly disagrees. I feel like it's more a problem with my personality that men have. Who of us is right?

Lately I've had this crazy obsession...to hang out in OOP with the gambling bad boys of MTF. I lurk in their gambler's forum, laughing hysterically at their 'sure bets'...and then secretly enjoy watching their self-distruction in OOP as their money (real and v-cash) is double-faulted away.

What am I to do? I know I shouldn't make fun of someone else's misery...but they're just so...well, funny.

Can you help me?

NO. He got out of there as quick as he could. His only acknowledgement of the crowd was a quick wave. I haven't liked him ever since that incident.

I believe a good old fashioned curse is in order to suffice your desire for retribution.

You need to light a room full of candles at night, and sit down with your legs crossed, and concentrate... then start chanting:

Good sir,

I believe there are 2 ways to handle this matter. Keep in mind that I am not up to speed on the latest Indian traditions, nor the older ones for that matter, so bare with me. If you feel some sense of duty to offer to pay for the wedding, then I'm sure in retrospect you will feel much more comfortable having at least made the offer, than having not.

On the other hand, is there a chance that an offer to pay for the wedding could be taken as an insult? In this case, instead of making the offer to pay for the wedding, you could buy your fiancee's parents a present (jewellery, holiday, car, Renoir, Pacific Island, etc.).

But most of all, ensure that you take good care of their daughter. No matter what the financial cost of a wedding, I am sure that they would not put a price on their daughter's happiness.

Good luck with the wedding, and may you and your lovely wife enjoy at least half the happiness and love that Princesa and I share.

Just because he is a qualified pharmacy technician from Papua New Guinea is hardly a good reason to believe he has magic powers. However, I tried the audio version in my car, but all I heard was a very rare ''slap'' sound, like wood hitting leather.
It was boring, but when I tried to change the tape for a much more authentic CRICKET sound, namely "Buddy Holly and the Crickets' Greatest Hits'', unfortunately I happened to be approaching San Jose's busiest intersection at rush hour.
When I regained conciousness today I found I had lost all desire to start silly threads in MTF. Thank you for your wonderful advice. HOWZAT!

This is what it's all about! Just take good care of their daughter and things will be alright. It's funny that you are worried about her family having to pay for almost everything while I, a Muslim who will get money and jewelry when I get married, don't want it. For me it's the commitment we make that counts and all that money I get to spend on me is spent better imo when spending it on the house we will live in.

And you could get her parents a nice present, just like that. I'm sure it's a small gesture they will appreciate.

Mr Adee,

I just got off the phone from a colleague of mine at the Lucky Jim Institute, and after lengthy discussion, we both agree that you contracted Flava-itis. We advise you to take a mallot to your head, striking it 10-15 times. This method of treatement will be successful in 50-60% of cases, although there is also a chance that you will consequently contract the NATAS syndrome.

As for your possible absence from MTF, I strongly advise against this as it will further throw the MTF arse clown-asset equilibrium out of order. The consequences of which could be catastrophic.

So 2 things to consider, mallot to head, and using mtf.

All the best,

Doctor, and friend, Jim.

Thank you Dr. Jim- the voices have come through. They informed me that a voodoo doll with long hair and large eyeteeth will help sooth my savaged soul, and it has worked. They have suggested that I perform the stick pin routine once a day and then taper off until I stop at the end of the month. Wish me luck! I feel better already.

I hope you can help my next problem as well. Whatever that will be.

If you make a sufficient sacrifice to the tennis gods, they shall relinquish you from their spell.Hmmm, as I am no longer a virgin, I don't have that to offer. Perhaps they'd consider...ah...a woman of experience?

No.

Me losing a few more games to my opponents when I play. :aplot:

No.

Or maybe just a monetary donation? That'll usually get 'em. :p

hrmmm... Nope, it's recognised in the medical profession as the NATAS syndrome. If you would like to stake a claim to this rare psychological occurrance, then you could simply write an email to Jim's Global Medical Panel.

Hope this helps.

:wavey:

Well Jim, I've been called just about every name that anyone could be called-from troll to terrorist and everything in between. Has NATAS engendered that type of response? I beg to differ. The backward one may have been repetitious at times, but trust me...I've never been that-and for that, I can be glad.
