Good god Justine at -275 , am I missing something (is Justine nursing a recent injury or something ) or is this outta whack. Pierce isn't terrible but I put Pierce beating Justine ( a healthy Justine) as the same likelyhood of Likhovtseva beating Mauresmo and Mauresmos at -800. So unless someones got some info for me im pounding the hell outta this.
And I lost money betting against Ginepri once but hes gonna realize eventually that hes still Robby freakin Ginepri and get his ass handed to him. Riding Gasquet as the dog here.

Massu H2H is 0-3 Coria
However, all are played on clay court
Saw their style of playing on hard court before and my opinion is the chance of winning is 60% 40% advantage to Massu with his giant forehand and on-form big serve... What concern me is his currently movement around the court. If it were like before, he would win it i believe...

He IS injured. He's serving about 10-20 mph lower than usual. Thing is, no one expected Ljubicic to be injured as well. :o

sure, but if someone does really suffer from tennis elbow, how was he able to maintain such a level in a 5 set match expecially being 2-1 sets down :shrug: Even more bizarre when you are talking about a guy who is not really known for his fitness

You doubt he's suffering from tennis elbow? Why would he sabotage himself by serving so slowly to pretend he has an injury? :o
My guess is that it was mental. He KNEW his serve wasn't going to win him free points like it used so he concentrated on the other parts of his game, coming to the net often and trying more dropshots, and he was willing to work harder.
And although it was a five-setter, you know how Ljubicic serves, so the match wasn't as long as it seems. And both players came to the net very often, so the points were very short.

No I never said he was faking an injury, all I'm trying to say is from a betting perspective when you try and start to second guess what his injury stauts is like (this is what i did last match and paid for it) then you are treading dangerous waters.
All things being equal, gasquet should wipe the floor with ginepri, far superior player but when there is all this doubt around his injury status, no point backing ginepri purely on the basis that richie is struggling with an injury.

Big on Schnyder and Blake today. Dementieva was poor against Chakvetadze and was lucky to come through, I kind of think Anna blew it herself as she was up a break and then seemed to collapse, crying and so forth. Probably put money on two singles.
Also think Coria will win, but not sure if I tempted to put money on.
Have money on Henin winning 2-1 as well.

Yes this is 50/50 match but if anything is to sway you one way or the other its a wake up call Dementieva got against young Anna. Its common as you all know in the WTA to smash the first set and suddenly b hit with a comeback. Dementieva showed her gut by coming back and winning the match, this will prove to b a positive step for her in this match tonight. She knows she gonna have to dig deep to beat pattie, and imo she will.
