You won't get anything spectacularly good for it, but Ancic to beat Djokovic looks almost a lock. Djokovic was suffering against Monfils, and needed two long breaks in the last set to see the physio. He's clearly got problems with his upper arm or shoulder. He was lucky that Gael was just so bad towards the end. Ancic really should annihilate him.

If any dog bets are worth considering, Srichaphan over Davydenko is certainly one of them. Not saying the Thai will win, but Nikolay is a very uncertain player and is among the most likely of the big favorites to mess up.

Kiefer to beat Stepanek is tempting.

As for tomorrow's matches, then Blake's well worth it against Andreev.

Wawrinka might be worth a gamble against Puerta.

Berdych to beat Mello looks sound, though the price won't be anything to drool over.

After taking day 3 off today looks good for opportunities. Below are my early leanings

10 units on Lopez over Soderling at $1.71

Soderling had a good win over Chela in round 1 but usually struggles to back it up as evidenced by his 1st round wins in Montreal/Cincinatti over Mirnyi/Stepanek then next round losses against Hrbaty/O.Rochus.

2 units on Mello over Berdych at $4.65

Berdych is the favourite but Mellos value here is enormous.

1 unit on Spadea over Coria $3.65

Again another value bet

5 units on Ljubicic/Haas/Youzhny/Robredo over Saulnier/Schuettler/Bjorkman/Kuerten

at $2.69

2 units on Tian Tian Sun over Medina Garrigues at $4.00

value bet Sun took care of Stosur in straight sets and is in with a fair chance here.

5 units on Groenefeld/Mauresmo/Chakvetadze/Blake over Razzano/Karatantcheva/Craybas/Andreev at 2.32

Any advice on how I should structure my units on these plays would be appreciated as I'm only new at this.

I was just moments away from placing Blake X Ginepri, when it occurred to me: Muller only beat Ginepri on hard court just over a month ago, and when he's on his game he can be dangerous. He's weak against a strong service game (like Roddick's), but on his own service he can be devastating. He managed something like 24 aces against Roddick on Tuesday.

I still like Ginepri for this match, but in light of Muller's performance, his confidence and the danger he poses when he's on his game, I'm just not confident enough that Ginepri will pull through. It'll likely be another three/four tiebreaks match.

If there's anything else I'd say in relation to other posts, it is that taking Mello over Berdych is a huge mistake.

Tojo 1.85 2units

Muller 2.60 1unit

Ancic x Niemenen tbc

WTA has been very nice to me last 2 days with 100% but in terms of value not much today.

Golovin over Smashnova @1.60 Smashnova hasnt had much much play on hard courts this year, one match which she lost. She had an easy first round win over Kloesel who is really a CLAY player only. Golovin leads h2d 2-0 that since 2004, they met in The OZ open 2004 anf Golovin won 6-2 6-2. Golovin has also had more hard court matches this year, though her form hasnt been unreal. Ill do some more research b4 i decide

Gotta take her with the $1.60

Back from work aint lookin to fab

Only took Muller 1 unit , Golovin 1unit and Medina Garrigues X Likhovtseva x Andre 1unit $2.01

With you on Muller, the tennis he played was unreal, though roddick isnt in the best of form, say some people, to beat Roddick on hard and show that amazing tennis i think its worth a shot on him beating a in form Ginepri, I mean all the Pressure is on Ginepri not Muller

My bets for the day are:

Guga @ 4.00  worht a shot against unpredicatable Robredo, who lost to Hanescu in New Heaven, although Hanescu prefers clay, and look what the romanian did in the first round here

ToJo @ 1.90 is a better player on hard then Seba, and more of a fighter. He has a good serve, nice play from the back of the court and he already beat Grosjean this year on clay in straight sets  , and let`s face it ToJo is kinda mediocre on clay !

Ivo Karlovic +7 @ 1.83 seems enough! Don't think that Agassi will win easy against tallest player in ATP Race, a player who serves like a god! At leat 1 or 2 tb!

Spadea @ 4.00 is also woth a shot! Coria on hard isn't convincing and the american will have the support from the public! He can produce an upset here!

Clement tb Murray!!!!!

Easy money at 2.2...

I would love to know you i would have a big wager against that, Clement for me will have to be top of his game he hasn't got a big serve to start with, if he serves the way he did against JCF, I think around 44% 1st serves Murray will have a field day have you seen this boy return, his serve is dodgy at times, but if Clement serves anywhere like that i can see Murray having break points on every service game. I mean pavel was up at 62% and Murray had 18 break points, that works out at on average about 0.82 per game nearly 1 break oppurtunity per service game, i some how don't think it will be easy money, i can't see anything but a Murray victory, i feel he is still young so he might throw in a dodgy set, but for me he will have far to many oppurtumites to win this match.

I go for Murray in 4.

Good luck with Clement in my opinion you will need it.

Feli is a real risk to me! He has proven that he can lose to ANYONE on any given day, for example YOUNES ELAYNAOUI, who hasn't won a single match in the last 2 years until 3 weeks ago. Robin is no walk-over either, but if Feli can produce the same form he did at New Haven, then i think Feli can do it for you. Gd luck... btw, i'm not touching this one...

Tojo is fading... i wouldn't bet on him... fancy Seb to come out winner in this match... should be an interesting match... so many people have been putting their faith in Tojo lately (inc. me), but he's proven me wrong more than twice in the recent weeks where i expected to him to perform better or go further into the tourney, eg. first round loss to Hrbaty at Cincy where he's seeded 13 and lost 6-1, 7-5 ~~~

Anyway, no bet for me on this one as well, only my PAW, which lean on Seb! Gd luck to those who prefers the risk, you shall be rewarded quite handsomely i'm sure, if he wins, that is... ;)

This isn't really as important as the fact that Hrbaty had been playing far better for weeks on end. But yeah, relying on the SEEDINGS to form expectations of who's going to win, isn't really the way to go in tennis.

Gasquet irritates me immensely. I mean, come on. Galimberti isn't even a serious singles player. The way I've got it (if I'm correct), in all his 10 years as a pro he hasn't even played as many as thirty games in an ATP singles tournament. Why does Gasquet go through these stages of playing phenomenally well, and then suddenly looking like he'd struggle to get a game against Donald Young? He's an enigma.

So Gasquet wins, Galimberti calls it a day...and it's voided as part of my parlay, because I did it with BLOODY WILLIAM HILL!

I'm sorry, but that rule is pathetic. If somebody retires right at the end of a match simply because they KNOW they have no chance of coming back and can't be bothered to keep fighting, then why the HELL should the bet be voided? If you forfeit, you forfeit! It's not like you've been forced out by injury while you're still in with a chance. This rule is total scummery, and William Hill should really change it.

At the same time, Ladbrokes go to the other extreme of giving wins to the player who progresses, even if the other player retired after as little as one point into the game.

Where do the two poles meet?

Galimberti was already injured at the start of the 4th set...

As if he wouldn't have kept playing had the scoreline been different.

He was even injured against Donald Young. Had Young been clearly winning, you bet your ass Galimberti would've quit like... <insert appropriate word here>.

Regardless... the rule is ridiculous. If you're getting battered, and you then retire for whatever reason, you rightfully lost the match and the one who handicapped the other player to win should get his money. Ladbrokes and most other sportsbooks are better in that respect.

Though, saying that, it is extremely annoying when you have a parlay involving Lleyton Hewitt, he retires against Serra after a few games, and you lose the whole stake.

it would be interesting to know whether you would feel the same way if your player that you backed pulled this stunt, with you getting your money back, i think not.

The rules are clear and have been for a long time with Willhill, and it works both ways, so no point kicking a fuss about it

Not a bad Day for me!! 100% OR 6-0 ON WTA THIS WEEK  Now thats crazy
