(Not so) Wild Wednesday!adk 08-30-2005, 10:19 PM Not a great card for Wednesday. At first look I like: Carlsen over Almagro Acasuso over Horna adee-gee 08-30-2005, 10:35 PM Gotta disagree with you my friend, Almagro to beat Carlsen at 2.25 looks a top bet :p adee-gee 08-30-2005, 10:35 PM Oh and Scoville Jenkins to beat Nadal is a dead cert, isn't it Mr Becks  Ays25 08-31-2005, 12:09 AM why is everyone on chucho? imo horna has been in better form and he is a better hard court player than jose Yoel and co. 08-31-2005, 12:12 AM Chucho - Horna is a 50-50 game. No play for me. Right now only parlayed Kevin Kim X Ferrer X Peer @3.5 flmmkrz 08-31-2005, 12:46 AM Kucera over flip might be an interesting little play. Somebody who gives flip nothing to work with and watching him trying to swat the hell out of it anyway. Neither seems to be in any form but flips game is more prone to being out of control. not much in the way of good value out there on wednesday Finns4 08-31-2005, 03:21 AM Granville x Bartoli 1.76 only thing im really likin atm mite add Ferrer to it bad gambler 08-31-2005, 03:40 AM If flip loses to Kucera, who is effectively semi retired, then you know it's time for him to give it away Having said, going to see if I can dig up anything which will tell me how he is has been training and what exactly he has been doing over the past month as a lead up adk 08-31-2005, 06:12 AM Fuck, Roddick lost to Muller in 3 breakers!!! sports freak 08-31-2005, 06:37 AM Not a great card for Wednesday. At first look I like: Carlsen over Almagro Acasuso over Horna Love it bro!!!wit ya all the way mate!!!lets cash it!!!you can add the Poo and Ferrer to juice it up more but thats 2 nice pics IMO!!!Good luck wit them!! ;) sports freak 08-31-2005, 06:39 AM why is everyone on chucho? imo horna has been in better form and he is a better hard court player than jose Cos Horna is Chucho's bunny!!! Smokin Joe should whoop ass over Horna!!!lookin at Carlsen,Poo and Ferrer for a nice parlay!!!! JMG 08-31-2005, 07:04 AM I would never back Carlsen or Kucera. contrails 08-31-2005, 07:08 AM Not a great card for Wednesday. At first look I like: Carlsen over Almagro Acasuso over Horna Carlsen is playing really really badly at the mo. lost to gaudio who as we saw last night isn't good on the hard courts. Even though almagro doesn't have much hardcourt experience I wouldn't count him out. Cheers JMG 08-31-2005, 07:11 AM Okay, I'll go with Philipoussis @1.60 Good luck! I hope he has more courage than Ferrero. LESAK 08-31-2005, 07:12 AM Almagro x Hrbaty x Ferrer I hope Carlsen beats Almagro, but I dont think he will, Carlsen plays without confidence at the moment it seems... The One 08-31-2005, 07:19 AM Playing this: Poo * ferrer * ivanovic * bartoli @ $3.00 Bartoli is in awsome form atm and won in straight sets last time against Perry. Ivanovic beat Vento Kabchi 6-0, 6-1 last time Ferrer playing solid tennis...I am a bit worried abt tis one but sticking wit it! Poo should take care of Kucera on hard court, Kucera wud have been more of a threat to him on the grass Good luck to everyone!! contrails 08-31-2005, 07:30 AM All plays except Kim over Lammer look too risky for me. Agree the poo should win, but he's been all over the shop recently and might not be feeling too good about himself. I'm going to take Kim over Lammer at 1.4 I think the chances of him winning are around 85% so it should be a value bet. Lammer has not beaten someone of kim's ranking on a hard court and Kim has not lost to someone with Lammers ranking on a hardcourt in over a year in atp matches. Any opinions would be appreciated bad gambler 08-31-2005, 07:38 AM Chucho has won the last 5 meetings between himself and Horna, and all in straight sets to boot, that's ownage. However admitedly only one of the 5 have come in a non clay match, in cincy where he really did play out of his skin by serving brilliantly to take the win Horna is the better hardcourter IMO, and over a best of 5 sets will the big man be able to sustain another similar serving performance, which I believe he will need to roll the peruvian No bet for me, chucho is a fav of mine, so will just hope he wins. Yoel and co. 08-31-2005, 08:24 AM All plays except Kim over Lammer look too risky for me. Lammer has not beaten someone of kim's ranking on a hard court and Kim has not lost to someone with Lammers ranking on a hardcourt in over a year in atp matches. Any opinions would be appreciated I agree on this one. Lammer did well to qualify but had a relatively easy draw there. I wouldn't put too much on Kim, though, as anyone who manages to lose a set to Bogdanovic in a GS, is bound to be a bit unstable. sy_iceman 08-31-2005, 08:28 AM man after yesterday's results i've lost abit of heart. from now on just just betting on fedex... lol.... made a $1 on him yesterday hahahahahaha sy_iceman 08-31-2005, 08:35 AM hey any thoughs on hrbaty.... i won so much money from him previously......he was in great form of late... but i don't know much about seppi....whats this guy capable of??? NewTennisFan 08-31-2005, 08:57 AM why is everyone on chucho? imo horna has been in better form and he is a better hard court player than jose Exactly. It's very hard to understand. I've seen at least 5 different people say this. Has nobody been paying attention over the last six weeks? Yoel and co. 08-31-2005, 09:03 AM I've said it once, I'll say it again. Chucho-Horna is too close to call. Don't go there. sy_iceman - Seppi hasn't done bad at all on HC so far - he beat Gambill and Tursunov last week. I'm not saying he will win today but with Hrbaty not exactly in great form either, I wouldn't put too much on this. sy_iceman 08-31-2005, 09:12 AM did anyone saw arthurs return on match point in the news...WTF was that... what a pathetic effort...... NewTennisFan 08-31-2005, 09:34 AM I've said it once, I'll say it again. If it had to be said of either of them that "he is in good form", then it would be Hrbaty. Betting on Seppi to defeat him is just... to put it simply... a waste of money. It's almost bound to go the other way. Mario66 08-31-2005, 09:53 AM Not so many good picks today, so I´ll go with a little parlay: Schiavone (will win Finnish Emma Laine) x Ivanovic (won clearly their last meeting) x Bartoli (in great form) x Ferrer (Calleri doesn`t take three sets from him) @ 2,51 (5units) All of them are quite big favs and the odds are too low, but I´ll try it anyway. Dice 08-31-2005, 10:29 AM hrbaty + ivanovic + bartoli + kim @ 2.6 , seems pretty solid NewTennisFan 08-31-2005, 11:21 AM Anybody confident in Philippoussis today? Bolar Bolabi 08-31-2005, 11:41 AM Anybody confident in Philippoussis today? Yes! Poo X Ivanovic V Bartoli is the way to go. Or replace Poo with Ferrer. Turns out to be a good parlay. Going with a single on Peer too. NewTennisFan 08-31-2005, 11:53 AM I think Likhovtseva to beat Maleeva is good bet. Though, I can't say I'm sure if they're playing today. diekedelver 08-31-2005, 12:29 PM I think Likhovtseva to beat Maleeva is good bet. Though, I can't say I'm sure if they're playing today. No, must be a match for tomorrow, but seems rather solid indeed. MalmöKrampan 08-31-2005, 12:42 PM Here is Jonas Björkman's parlay for today: Dent x Hewitt x Hrbaty x Ferrer, 1.77. mhappy 08-31-2005, 12:45 PM Vaidisova-Zheng , what s your opinions guys? I think Vaidisova is a banker  Yoel and co. 08-31-2005, 12:55 PM Here is Jonas Björkman's parlay for today: Dent x Hewitt x Hrbaty x Ferrer, 1.77. I think Vaidisova is a banker  Vaidisova should win, but Ivanovic is a sure pick with these (low) odds... She is combo material though, there`s no sense to bet it single. Yoel and co. 08-31-2005, 12:59 PM Vaidisova-Zheng , what s your opinions guys? I think Vaidisova is a banker  Seems to be a good choice, but then again this is WTA... The One 08-31-2005, 01:02 PM Vaidisova-Zheng , what s your opinions guys? I think Vaidisova is a banker  Personally odds are too low for vaidisova to make it worthwhile..she mite end up winning but remember Zheng can play!! so not worth it IMO Action Jackson 08-31-2005, 01:05 PM Chucho owns Horna it's that simple. diekedelver 08-31-2005, 01:06 PM Puss x Ferrer x Vaidisova x Ivanovic x Granville x Mirza x Serena :o @ 4.41 Lisjak x Peer x Schruff @ 17.60 small stakes though ;) Thinking about high stakes on Vaidisova ! MalmöKrampan 08-31-2005, 01:17 PM Malmo :wavey: welcome back Thanks Yoel, it's nice to be back :) :wavey: I've decided to parlay some of the favs today so here's my parlay: Clijsters x Ivanovic x Hewitt x Dent x Hrbaty, 1.60. Good luck dbnumberone 08-31-2005, 01:24 PM hoping to bounce back from black goldstein tuesday, don't like much of anything so i'm taking a stab that dent ankle is still bothering him, or whatever it was that kept him out of pilot pen, & going w/ Burgsmuller. Lisjak was born in 1987 and Bychkova in 1985. As most of us already know, Bychkova surprised us all by upsetting the defending US Open champ Svetlana Kuznetzova(6-3, 6-2). Lisjak on the other hand also made a big surprise by beating Emilie Loit in 3 sets. Bychkova is the most experienced of those two and i see her coming through comfortably today as she has played more matches this year and is more fit than her croatian opponent. 5 units on Ekaterina Bychkova. its.like.that 08-31-2005, 02:29 PM Dent x Hewitt x Kim x Hrbaty x Vaidisova x Ivanovic @ 3.10 Ale10 08-31-2005, 02:53 PM Granville x Raymond @1.85 Kerr/Oliver @1.60 adee-gee 08-31-2005, 04:07 PM Almagro takes the 1st set  Ale10 08-31-2005, 04:31 PM Good start for the day, Kerr/Oliver just beat Berdych/Mayer in straight sets. :) adee-gee 08-31-2005, 05:17 PM 2nd set Almagro.
