Mimi you are going to laugh when I tell you that girl is Pete or what a child of Pete would look like with his former girlfriend, Pete was dating this actress, her name Lauren Holly and on of these late night talk-show host come up with this idea, by putting a face to what the child of these famous persons would look like, Pete and Lauren Holly was one of them.

They do all kinds of crazy thing in Hollywood or LA.

why she only does guest appearance, is it because she is too busy in taking care of Christian

by the way, she acts quite good, not bad at all :wavey:

I guess she only do guest appearances because she is not a TV actress, by that I mean most big screen actresses dont do TV movies, although she has done TV movies in the past, Santa Barbara and Save by the Bell are two of the TV movies she has being in.

If she gets a good TV show, Christian should not be a problem for her, he hubby is retired is'nt he, he can takes care of the baby (smile). I think she is a good actor too, just need to get good parts in her films.

Mimi
08-13-2004, 07:58 AM
thanks for the information :wavey: , Bridgette is younger and more beautiful than Julia Roberts, Julia is really very lucky to be so popular

hehe, i guess pete does not know cooking (wasn't Chang said that before ;)), he does not know cooking good food for Christian so Bridgette must be very busy at home ;)

i think may be the film directors seeing her marrying such a wealthy and famous husband that they think she no longer has the drive to act so fewer roles for her to choose  , hope she finally gets a good role :worship:

I think Pete could manage Christian if Bridgette gets good parts in movies, how much food will he have to prepare for a small boy, he dont need to learn to cook for that, but I think he can cook (Chang was just joking).

He say he spend half the day with Christian each day, so guess the boy must have eaten good food, else he would still be here, would he.He also said he is the one that get up with Christian in the mornings, and he fed him breakfast while Bridgette gets her beauty sleep, so he can take care of him while his wife is out filming movies.

Julia Roberts is a great actress and she get lots of good parts all the time, that is what Bridgette needs too. I would love to see her get a really great movie to act in the near future.

oh my god, i envy of Bridgette so much, Pete is a rare diamond by spending so many time at home and help in doing the daily work :worship:

do you know HK men in compared with pete are so bad, now since HK returned to china and more men go to china to work, they marry the girls there (even a 70 years old man can choose a 20 years old  , you know some parts of china are still very poor, so the young girls love to marry a HK man and get the chance to live in hk ;)

so thats why many HK women has no men to marry ;), and their standards are dropping, the Hk women sometimes even earn more than the men and some my colleagues' husband do not do any housework even for heavy ones, my poor colleagues, work from 9-7 pm, cooking, houseworks but her husband just sits and play icq

i want so much to see this lovely scene, pete feeds the little Christian :) , i think pete should have a girl as well

His brother has two little girls and one of his sister has a boy, can you believe if all these kids grow up to play tennis.

Did you know his first coach was a doctor, in fact the man name was Dr. Pete Fischer, he was a paediatrician with an IQ of over 200, he coach Pete for free until he was 18 I think, and he wrote where he create Pete as the prefect tennis player.

This man could not even play tennis himself, but what he did was send Pete to all the top specialists in the country, and they built his game from the ground up, he was built to win wimbledon and rival Rod Laver.

It is not that strange, look at the Williams sisters, their father did play the game either. most tennis player parents have never played the sport.

angiel
08-13-2004, 08:55 AM

yes i now about this Pete Fischer, they said he was involved with a sexual scandal with a young girl

oh my god, i don't know that this old Pete did not know tennis but turned pete to such a great player  , i just remember sampras said at first he used double back hand, later change to one handed backhand so as to win more wimby :D

but coached pete for free, wow, then he is really generous, i don't know about this

then this fisher must be very popular otherwise how come the specialists will agree to teach Sampras

i read that Richard Williams jsut studied the tennis book and learnt it himself, he is really lucky coz his sisters are so successful :wavey:

angiel
08-13-2004, 09:35 AM
Dr. Fischer was jail for that same sex scandal with the children, he even served time in prison for his crimes. He was one of the top tennis coaches in the US, but he ruin his life fondlying young kids, he is out of prison for sometime now, but he cant coach players under 18 years of age.

Pete's father took his son to this tennis club in California ( the Jack Kramer tennis club) to find a coach for him way back when Pete was little, Dr.Fischer was a member of that club I think and offer to coach him for free, they he was real good with children, but he was not a tennis coach at all, Pete's father agreed and the rest as they say is history.

What they did was to break Pete's game down and built it from scratch with his father supervision.

Lalitha

hey is this Dr Fischer the old man with strange cocktail hairstyle who sometimes seen sitting at the court with some coaches

oh god, luckily he did not touch pete, this dirty old man

then sampras's father was very brave, chose Fisscher who is not really a tennis coach

sampras's father should learn tennis himself so that he can coach him in my opinion :wavey:

I am fine Mimi, and happy to be talking to you, no I dont find a new job as yet, but I am looking around, I find a part-time one to baby sit for a few hours a day, starting tomorrow, so I will see what will happen until september 1st, thank you for your concern.

I am enjoying the olympics on TV, there was a hurricane here in Florida over this weekend, 17 people get killed and lots of properties lost or damage, I did not get affected myself, which I am thankful for.

My birth country Jamaica was also in the hurricane path, but they were speared with only rain. Now a days the world is so troubled by both natural and man-made disasters, we all have a lot to be thankful for.

Mimi
08-17-2004, 07:07 AM
hello angiel :D

I am also very happy to talk with you :D

happy that at least you have found a part time job, very soon, you gonna find a perfect one :wavey: , here in HK, its different, we do not have baby sitter job, as housewifes are not popular now ;), most women need to go to work so they mostly hire a domestic helper, mainly from Phillippines/Indonesia/Thailand, they stay at their home for 24 hours :)

I am sure that you gonna do the baby sitter job perfectly coz you are a loveable person with big hearts :worship:

yes I have learnt of this terrible hurricane, here in HK, we call them "tyhpoon", but they usually do not do too much damage, hopefully this bad hurriicane will go soon, yes sometimes human are to be blamed for, we do too much damage to our living enviroment :(

Thanks for your vote of confidence, I need it because here in the State, doing baby sitting jobs can be stressful, you have to be on your P's and Q's with these trebble Americans kids.

Here in the US you cant give them a spanking, when they are been rude, you go to jail or catch big trouble.

I dont like doing it, but what can I do for now.

i am sorry that its so difficult to do this job  , you cannot give them some punishment  , here i can see the domestic helper sometimes beat their little master (not very heavily of course)

sometimes the kids are very naughty and they must get some punishment :wavey: , may be you play with them for the first hour, make them tired and put them to bed so you can have more rest :wavey:

hey, may be the kid is very lovely :wavey: , mimi prays that he/she gonna be lovey and not troublesome for you  , meanwhile look for another job :wavey:

Look on the bright side a least he gets to go to the olympics, and that is what the olympics is about anyway, not only about winning or losing.

but i don't think he can still play at 08, by that time, he will be 36   , if he still qualify, then its a magic

Cheer up my dear, who knows dont you see lots of older athletes competing these days, age are not slowing them down, so you may see Popov in China for the next olympics.

Then you could get to go see him swim for real. sports is a funny thing and he could be gone forever.

angiel

Dont be angry with him, he do the best he could I guess, the game is not about winning and losing as I keep telling you, are it shouldn't be.

thanks angiel, i am no longer angry with him, i guess Popov had already tried his best, he just could not swim the fastest, his body is not the same  , i am still a bit sad for him, i remember clearly how he dominated in 1996 Olympics

Pete's signature is very nice, simple and elegant :worship:

Dont be angry with him, he do the best he could I guess, the game is not about winning and losing as I keep telling you, are it shouldn't be.

angiel

That is our boy, simple and elegant and he made the game look too easy, that is what people blame him for, they say he ruined the game because he dominate his opponents, and the game was to easy for him.

Can you believe that Mimi, how sad and foolish people are about this great man.

Get his book "Pete Sampras A Legend In The Works", I cry when I read most of that book. :(

Mimi
08-24-2004, 07:29 AM
yes simple, elegant, quick, he finished the points so quickly but it also leads to people critising him for ending the points so quickly and little rallies  , hey come on, he has this talent, serve, service winner, if he can do this, how can you expect him to do so many long rallies, he wants to win quickly :yippee:

his game looks easy but i think its not totaly easy, he worked very hard on this :worship: :worship:

where can i buy this book, i don't see it in the local bookstore

angiel
08-24-2004, 08:47 AM
I think you can get it over the internet or try Amozan.com, some of the online bookstores will help you get it, if they have it, another bookstore is Barnes & Nobles, check them out wil you.

Mimi, you could also ask your local bookstore to order it for you, I did that when I was in Jamaica, that how I get to purchase the 7 books on him, they didn't have them there either.

Mimi
08-24-2004, 08:58 AM
thanks angiel :)

but i don't like buying things online coz the chicken heart mimi fears they will cheat me money and use up all my credit limit for my credit card

we don't have this Barnes & Nobles bookstore in HK, may be i will go and ask some bookstores which sell english books if they have it, but i only see the books about Beckham, Hillary Clinton, Owen but don't see Pete

angiel
08-24-2004, 09:06 AM
These books are older, so you may not find them and the shelves in these stores, take the name of the book with you, and ask the sales person if they get it, if not find out if they get it for you.

Tell you what I will do Mimi, I will find out if I can find it here in the US and get you one, then post it to you. I see the book listed on Amozan.com

Mimi
10-13-2004, 09:21 AM
what is x box game, sorry i am too old that id on't know abotu this

yes pete loves to be private and low profile, his parents, sisters, never seen on player box

angiel
10-13-2004, 08:50 PM
X-Box is a video game mimi - it is created by Microsoft for different sports and tennis is one of them. ;)

You must have seen a video game before - the ones they playes on the computer or TV. :)

I think Pete fans would love to see him from time to time - in the news - I would. :p

Mimi
10-14-2004, 03:57 AM
thanks angiel, you know mimi is very outdated and don't know about modern things but i have played video game before, but i always lost, hahaha, i am too clumpsy :D

microsoft has to pay pete for using his face on the game

angiel
10-14-2004, 04:38 AM
You are not the only one - I cannot get thet hang of those games at all - yes Pete and the other players are paid to appear on these games.

Mimi
10-14-2004, 05:08 AM
if i have chance to play, i will choose pete  , unbeatable ;)

suddenly i think of Anna K, seems she even earns more than pete, its not fair, she just has a beautiful face

angiel
10-14-2004, 06:11 AM
No mimi - anna doesn't earn more than pete at all -it only seem that way to people - I was reading something about that the other day - and they say most of those money that they say people earn is false.

Pete has earn $43 millions in earnings alone - how much has Anna earn apart from endorsements? not a dine.

The person was saying most of those reported endorsements are just that - and the athletes dont actually recieve that much money they boasted about.

They have to win to earn the money or reach at some finals - and if they dont do that - then no money - so dont believe everything you read in the news he was saying.

Mimi
10-14-2004, 07:35 AM
yes for sure in terms of earning from tennis tourneys, anna cannot be compared to pete but advertisements, they said she got more, it was said that she earned US$100 million from this

if so, she is too lucky, pete earned the monies with his blood and sweat and she just earned it by her beautiiful face but actually there are lots of models who are more beauitful than her

but may be you are right, the figures are too exagerrating, if anna already earned $100 million, why she is still greedy enough to earn more :p :p

angiel
10-14-2004, 08:34 PM
mimi - where did you read that she earn $100 millions from ads - I have never seem that news and i dont believe it either - how long was anna playing to earn so much?

if Anna did earn all that money I would have read about it in some newspaper or magazine here in the US - Anna would have to be playing for some ten years to earn that much money my dear or earn much more than was reported that she earn yearly.

How long was she playing for - do you know Mimi - let me know please.

I read on some Bio for pete that he is reportly net worth is over a $100 million mimi - that I can believe. :) :worship:

Mimi
10-15-2004, 03:45 AM
angiel, i read it often from the articles posted by the wtaworld.com members :wavey: , the articles always said Anna earns a lot

hey, i don't mean she earns that money by winning matches, i mean by doing advertisements like Omega etc :wavey:

i remember she played since she was 14? it was at around 95

wow, pete has so many monies, than i am happy for him coz he deserves it :worship: :worship:

Bridgette, please bear more kids like Victoria :p

angiel
10-15-2004, 08:38 PM
mimi - Anna start at 14 but she didn't start getting those ads at that time - how old is Anna now do you know? Anna has not been playing for ten years mimi. :p

I know you are talking about for playing tennis - but Omega and others dont pay her that much neither - dont believe everything they say on those forums.

Why should Bridgette has more kids like Victoria Beckham?

Mimi
10-16-2004, 04:02 AM
i remember they said anna already got some contracts when she was just 10

they said she earned a lot for that undies advertisement   , also she posted a lot in sexy swimming suits for magazines, got many monies as well

Victoria gave 3 kids to Beckam, I want Bridgette to give 2 more kids to Pete so that Pete gonna has lots of things to enjoy and also Christian has a lot of companions :D:D

angiel
10-16-2004, 04:34 AM
mimi did you hear about Anna when she was 10 - dont you think we would have if that was so - those magazines dont pay a lot of money to have your pictures taken - anyway enough of Anna - not my cup of tea - having lots of money doesn't make you anybody great  - your achievements does.

Dont worry I am sure Pete and Bridgette will have more kids - I did read in tennis magazine that he wants 3 in all - so you see maybe they will have more than one. :worship:

Christian is still young - maybe they are just waiting until he gets a year or two older. ;)

Mimi
10-16-2004, 05:07 AM
i agree with you, acheivements make you great and not only the monies :worship: :worship:

yes 3 is perfect, by then pete will be as busy as a bee, wo wo wo, 3 kids embracing him, too busy, may be one of them can play tennis, as good as his dad :D

lets beat Andre's kids again like his dad

Mimi
10-16-2004, 05:08 AM
i remember courrier said he never thought pete was so great when he was young, he said pete played poorly

angiel
10-16-2004, 05:38 AM
Well Courier was wrong - Pete won a slam at 19 years old - did Courier won any that young - no. :D

What will Pete be busy doing to raise his kids? I think he will love having his kids running around that big old house of his. ;)

Wouldn't that be great - to see his son or daughter playing the game - I cannot wait. :worship:

Bring on the Agassis will you. :p

Mimi
10-16-2004, 05:42 AM
hey courier meant when pete was a kid, he did not play too well, do you know chang was the world champion while pete was just no.3 :wavey: , but pete caught up and beat them all, hehe

i read that goran's daughter bother him a lot at night, she does not sleep and ask for many things   , so pete would be very busy, also all of them will ask "dad, play with me, dad give me some sweets, dad i want boo boo""""

i am looking foward to see Pete No.2 :worship: :worship:

i don't like agassi saying that his kids will for sure beat pete's kids, may be he is joking but i don't like it

Lee
10-16-2004, 05:45 AM
Angiel, don't be so hard on Courier. Pete, Chang, Courier and Agassi were all bright prospects as teenages and helped in training by USTA. At that time, Pete was definitely not the best of them. Even after they turned pro, Chang was the first one to win a GS. And after Pete won USO, Courier had a better record before Pete showed his real colour.

angiel
10-16-2004, 06:06 AM
Pete could have been a great junior player if his coach didn't change his game Pte change from a two handed player to a one handed player during those years - and then he struggle with his game until he perfect his one handed play.

Another thing Pete never play in his age group - his coach let him play higher up in age. I read where Pete's whole game was broken down in his teens and built from scratch. :worship:

Lalitha
10-16-2004, 07:27 AM
Playing single handed shots is more advantegous than playing double handed ones. I think Pete's coach did the right thing.

angiel
10-17-2004, 05:01 AM
It was the best thing he has done - although at the time it didn't seem like it would work - Pete wanted to go back to the two-handed play but he wouldn't let him do so.

Mimi
10-18-2004, 03:11 AM
mimi also plays single handed backhand, seems its natural, i cannot play double handed

yes now i do believe, i guess their teachers should have taught them not to speak vulgar languages like fuck etc, but seems they do not listen  :p

Mimi
11-03-2004, 06:43 AM
hey angiel, i don't know if my friend is underpaid coz she has no working experience in Australia, jsut in HK :wavey:

how can she ask for raise in salary, she is not the boss ;). She said her boss is quite mean, she only raised her colleague AO$30 per year after she worked for one year so how will she raise my friend's given that she has only worked for 7 months ;)

she said she has HK$15,000 per month but HK$5,000 was already deducted for tax ;). HK$10,000 in exchange for AO$ (AO$1 = HK$5.8) = AO$1,724), so i don't know if its high or low

hey, i am just joking, what i meant was wroking in kFC provides food for me so i can save more monies, and i can also eat corns and rice and not only fried chicken, by the way, i have spagetti (mushroom) + one fried chicken today, see i gonna gain some weight :o

Yes if you subscribe here in the US for tennis magazine - you get it at a discount rate evelyn - I do.

I dont go for the brash Americans at all - can't stand people who is alway getting into your faces - it is ugly and rude - and most Americans are good at that - tell me about it.

angiel

I hate smoking - and I dont go for people who do either - that thing is bad for your health - and it gives you stinky breath too.

Yak, yak, yak.

Mimi
11-09-2004, 02:55 AM
yes angiel, the stinky mouth, just like my dad, do you know how funny and embrassing for him: he took my niece to school when he was younger , one mum complained to my sister in law that: hey your father in law has a very stinky mouth, he always smoke

angiel
11-09-2004, 03:11 AM
Well your old dad dont see anything wrong with his bad breath - like most people who smoke they dont care at all - it is one of the worse thing to smell - bad breath. :o :p

I dont know why they smoke in the first place - but that is what we human do - go for all tha bad stuff in life.

Mimi
11-09-2004, 06:56 AM
he is very selfish, even i told him not to smoke in my new house (in the old government house, there was a balcony so he can smoke there but new house does not (to save space, HK getting too crowded), but smoke in the back stairs or our building's garden (just in the ground floor) but he always secretly smoke in our house always when we do not aware

smoking, i don't know, may be its the best influence from movies, they think its very stylish to smoke

angiel, i have to do something for the bad boss's counsin, so bye bye and see you tomrorow :wavey:

angiel
11-09-2004, 09:22 PM
I dont think they smoke because of the movies - people were smoking long before the movies came along.

Mimi
11-10-2004, 02:31 AM
yes but what i meant was that the teenagers who smoke because they got influenced by the movies

angiel
11-10-2004, 03:56 AM
I dont think so Mimi - the society, schools, pair pressure from friends, even at home - young people are learning to smoke.

Mimi
11-10-2004, 04:02 AM
the teenagers want to do the same things as adult so they want to be rebel and smoke ;)

but one day they gonna be regretted coz their teeths will look bad, all yellow and black

angiel
11-10-2004, 04:35 AM
Most Americans dont brush their teeth anyway - they dont even know what a toothbrush looks like - as for toothpaste - they dont buy the stuff at all.

Did you know that Americans buy the less toothpaste in the world............ yes my dear - they just get out of bed and straight to the kitchen drinking coffee, yuk, yku, yuk.

the whole world is one big stinking dirty pit hole.

passive smokers inhale 4/5 of the smoke while smokers only 1/5, unless they inhale their own smoke

Most times it is the person not smoking to get affected the most - which shouldn't happen - but it did through no fault of theirs.

Mimi

Take a good look at the movies with Americans - and trust me it is not just in the movies they dont brush their teeth - in real life too - they and the British has some of the dirty tooth people I ever see. :o

The so-called third world countries are the one that buy the most toothpaste and toothbrush - why do you think we have the better looking teeth - take a look and see for yourself. :D :D

Mimi
11-12-2004, 04:02 AM

but no, i have yellow teeth coz i was told that i ate too much "anti-fever medicine" when i was a kid

angiel
11-12-2004, 04:46 AM
Mimi - all of those actors has their teeth cap and straighten for them to look like that....but they didn't have beautiful tooth - they spend thousand of dollars on dental bill to get their teeth like that. :o

What do you mean - you eat "anti-fever medicine" and that make your teeth yellow? - how can that be. :(
