I apologize if there was already discussion on this, but I was wondering if anyone noticed that after reaching 60 titles the other week, Agassi would now have another special stat in being the second man to hit $30 million in prize money, if he beats Gaudio in his QF match. Best of luck Andre.

NOTE: Sampras won more PRIZE money...in appearance fees and endorsements, Agassi earned close to triple of what Sampras earned...so the $41 M (Sampras) to the $30M (Agassi) is quite deceptive...Agassi more than made up that $11M career differential in just ONE of his 19 years playing the game....

However, all that is silly to argue about...the important thing about money is not how much you earn...but how good of a steward you all with all that loot (and they BOTH have a boat load of cash)...and Andre has done very well there with generosity. It can be argued that Sampras and others contribute privately to good causes...the trouble with that is that it is the public giving of celebrities that primes the pump for others to give...

Both Sampras and Agassi are great champions. Sampras has a few more trophies...but in what they have earned monetarily from tennis, Agassi is in a class by himself.

According also to Sports Illustrated, of all athletes in ALL SPORTS, Andre Agassi has
given more money to charity. It was more than double what Lance Armstrong has
given (and Lance gives millions, I am sorry I forget the figures now, and more than Tiger Woods who earns the most money as an athlete, and Tiger gives millions).

Andre is a great tennis champion, and if possible, and even greater human being. The
world is a better place because of him.

Love these facts! I don't follow doubles much....who was Andre's doubles
partner when he won that one doubles title?

1993.. Agassi teamed with Petr Korda to win the doubles in Cincy...

I think it was in 1999 that Agassi teamed with Wheaton to get to the finals (they dropped out because AA was in the singles final) in Hong Kong...I'd have to check on this last bit of info
