Tim Henman V Dominik Hrbaty

Dominik, no.24 ATP Race 2005, has had quite a good season till now. His best performances are QF in AO, where he eventually lost to Safin, QF at NASDAQ Open, and a SF two weeks ago in L.A. where he lost to Muller. So, all the good results came when he played on hard, as AO,NASDAQ and Mercedes Cup in L.A. are all hardcourt tournaments. However last week he lost in the second round pretty hard in Washington to in-form peruan Luis Horna. He has got a 24/17 winning streak this season.

Tim, no. 26 ATP Race 2005, is far from his real form, starting the year good but he seems to be runnig out of fuel. He reached QF in Rotterdam, Dubai, and Indian Wells but he couldn't keep up the good work. At Wimbledon he lost in the second round to Tursunov and in Washington last week lost to Moodie in 2 sets 7-6 7-5! He has got a 20-12 winning streak this season.

H2H the score is 3-1 for Henman, Tim winning 2 times in 2000 and last year, on hard, and Dominik succeded to overcome him this year, on clay, in 3 sets: 6-3 3-6 6-3 ! Hrbaty can surely win today too, he's got all it takes and a bonus help from Tim who is not himself ! Very nice odds too !

Tim Henman V Dominik Hrbaty 2 @ 2.25 @ Bet365

Who would agree that Acasuso @ 3.25 is a bargain?

If you think he has a 40% chance or more go for it. IMHO he has about a 20% chance as Clement has very good recent hardcourt form and Acasuso is 3 & 8 in Masters Series hardcourt tournaments.

Richie Gasquet is staying in the same hotel as myself, amongst a whole host of other players.

I just went to breakfast and saw him there, and the word is that the kid has been down with the flu for the past few days so a word of caution for those having a bet on his match against Misha. At odds of $2+ I'd say Misha was worth a shot.

I'm going to watch some players train now in the main arena and to centrecourt to see the gasquet match along with Henman v Dominator so will try and post here during the next couple of days to tell you all how the players are striking the ball.

Just got back from Holiday and could do with a few winners. Not much takes my fancy today. the only three that i am looking at are Mello, O.Rochus and Ancic. I haven't seen many results or watched many matches in recent weeks so not to sure how they or their oppenents are playing. Never heard of Bester which is why i would pick Mello.Any idea if he is any good? O.Rochus should be too good for Mahut but i have never seen Mahut play on Hard so don't know how he will play. From what i remember Ollie is ok on Hard. I think he gave Safin a really good game at the Aussie Open if i remember rightly.Safin won 3-1 but all 3 of his sets came on Tie Breaks. Sauliner is rubbish and has lost most of his first round matches recently. How good is ancic on Hard. Will he be good enough to beat a poor Sauliner?

Any advice would be great as i need the cash having overspent on my Holiday.

cheers guys

I will go with a classic: Henman @ 1.70
He is 31 years old which makes me feel uncomfortable betting on him but... he will do good I guess... Wasn't hrbaty his practice mate? Henman has a 3-0 record against him on harc courts... well we will see...

will gasquet beat Youzhny? what do you think?

It will be a tough game for him and a game which i would try to avoid. Normally Gasquet should win but he has been out for a while and is according to BG suffering with the Flu. all that is enough to put me off placing money on him.

Good luck if you go with him though

And the fact that Gasquet played just one hard court tourney is interesting. (and that was in the beginning of the season a CH event which he lost in the second round)
I believe Youzhny will take this one.

Guys be careful with your bets. Many players will play on hardcourt (official game) after long time so i'm waiting for surprises today.I think that the best choice is "no bet" or to bet on underdogs.

Bester is not one of our TOP 5 players yet and he is too fresh. Mello loves the hardcourts and this should be an easy win for Ricardo. I bet a lot on him to beat Bester. If you want to bet on a Canadian, take Dancevic. He is the only bright spot for Canada's future.
