PSV v Once Caldas @ 2.00

PSV were the champions of this tournament in 2003.. their opponent will be the league champions of colombia. this is the second match of this tournament, in the first match psv won comfortably and looks like they are taking this peace cup seriously. ONCE CALDAS had a draw ( 1-1) against lyon in their first match. But are they really a very good team??? Lyon were the french league champions but they have a new manager now ( stupid gerrard houilier) he brought down liverpool similar way he will bring down Lyon. plus in the first match M.Essien got a red card early in the second half that reduced the chances of lyon scoring. Draw against lyon has has made the bookie think that ONCE CALDAS has a slight chance against psv giving psv to win @ 2.00. but i think it should be a comfortable win for psv... good luck :)

Benfica v Chelsea @ 2.10

José Mourinho has never lost a game at Benfica, but does not feel under pressure to maintain that record this Sunday. However, he wants his team to win.

“No-one likes to lose but no-one is too interested in result. I am following the same philosophy of 45, 60 minutes for each player. I will take everybody, Makelele and Crespo are ready to play 45 minutes.”

Benfica was the first club he managed back in 2000. “I was there for no more than three months but it was enough time to feel how big the club is. I never lost there, when I was Benfica manager I played six, seven matches at home and never lost, and when I went there as Porto manager I played there a few times and never lost. So it is a place where I normally go happy.

“But it does not matter this time. If we go there in the Champions League, then it matters.”

A big crowd is expected but he is doubtful about there being a full house.

“A full house there is 70,000 and we are in the middle of July, a lot of people in Lisbon are in the south on the beach on holidays. I’m happy Benfica is champions, it’s their first time celebrate at home, and of course it’s Chelsea for them, a club everyone in Portugal likes now because we have a lot of Portuguese here.

“It has to be a good game for this moment of the season. They start when we start so they have the same time of training as we have. We have an easy game against Wycombe, they have two in Switzerland against easy teams, so we are in the same level.”

He is looking forward to the trip. “To go to Lisbon is like to go home because home is 20 minutes outside.”

Another Chelsea man returning to his former club is Tiago. Mourinho was full of praise for the ex-Benfica midfielder’s first year at Stamford Bridge.

“Tiago is still young. He was in Benfica one-and-a-half yearrs so he’s playing in this level for a short period of time. He did very well last season. He was always playing, in the line-up or on the bench, always involved. His contribution was very good. Never a player of 10 or 6, always 7, 8, 9, helping us be good and strong.”

The team travels straight back after the game and then heads for the USA on Tuesday.

Lot of people said this match will be a draw. from the way the manager has spoken, its hard to say wats going to happen. BUT everyone knows that even their second team is better than benfica's first team... so i am going to bet medium on Chelsea to win... good luck :)
