I heard it might be the RCA Championships. I don't know though.

I heard he'll take 2 weeks off after the DC tie and then he'll play in Washington at the beginning of August... Not sure it's true, though...

I remember reading he was going to play 5 American hardcourt tournaments. If that's still true (and he starts in Washington):

Washington
Montreal
Cincinatti
Pilot Pen (it replaced my TD Waterhouse Cup in Long Island, New York where I saw Richie last year  )
US Open

We know the two Masters and the Open are a sure thing so its the other two tournament that we are left to speculate about. It could be the Mercedes Benz Cup in LA since that starts one week after DC. (That would only give him a week rest after DC). At least we can eliminate the RCA Championships since that starts the Monday after DC.

So for the other two tournaments we have either the Mercedes Benz Cup (LA),Legg Mason (Washington), or the Pliot Pen(Connecticut).

I think I may of just overthought the entire thing.

Richard is listed on the entry list for Legg Mason. However, he is not on the entry list for LA which leads me to believe that his 5 American hardcourt tournaments(if he plans to do 5 like I read) are:

Legg Mason (Washington)
Montreal TMS
Cincinatti TMS
Pilot Pen(Connecticut)
US Open

 I hope I got this right.

The TD Waterhouse was just the name of the company that sponsored the tournament in Long Island last year. It was sometimes called the Hamlet Cup or they just referred to it as the Long Island tournament.

Finnally Richard won't play in Washington, he needs a longer break I suppose.
Next tournament: Montreal.

Is it because of his wrist?

I don't think so. They just said he's on holiday, and decided not to play in Washington.
I thinks he needs one week to take a rest, and other one to work physically ! ;)

He's going into a TMS without any lead-ups? :scared:

I really wish he would play Washington and then not play New Haven.
Oh well....

No practice tournaments before Montreal. I am not really liking the sound of that.

I think his wrist is not fine, but he deserves a break!
:D
Get some rest and then let's kick some ass, Richard!!!

i think he deserves a break as well but going straight in to a TMS is  but if he has a wrist injury he should rest it because if he does play too much its just gonna get worse and worse

Richard and Seb Grosjean expect to play double together in Montreal and Cincinnati, if they have wild cards.

Only if they have those WC. ;) Wasn't Richard supposed to partner Santoro, Marine? I read something like that...

He should partner Paulo. :(

But it's OK. As long as he gets some doubles matches under his belt. He'll probably do better with Seb anyway.

Acording to his coach (http://img203.imageshack.us/img203/8092/gaskit014zk.jpg) : "After the US Open, he won't play in any tournament for three or four weeks." So i don't know if he'll actually play in Bangkok finally.
The scan of the article (left column) is from C3PO from the RG.net board taken from "Le Journal du Dimanche" but i think he's the same guy that the C3PO we have here...
PS: I don't know if some of you care but on the right down corner there's a little bit which confirms Escudé has taken back his racquet and will be on the circuit again with a protected ranking for 6 months at the beginning of 2006! http://www.cheesebuerger.de/images/midi/figuren/a026.gif

If he were, it would be so hard to watch the match becasue we wouldn't be watching the ball go back and forth *lol* :bounce:
