Yeah I also haven't seen any match from Gonzo here so don't know what to think also. But we know what to expect from Gonzo, so Roger better prepare to do a lot of defending tomorrow especially in the first two sets.

i saw a bit of gonzo vs. zib and he played well but it was also a lot of his usual hit or miss style. Good Luck Roger, come out firing, play your game, and believe. :hug:

Gonzalez is the type of player who can blow anyone off the court, on a very good day. He shouldn't be taken lightly.

Fortunately, Roger has been playing Gonzalez several times in the last few months. Unfortunately though, some of those matches have been a little tight. In the French Open encounter, the match was close for the first two sets, until Gonzalez started spraying his forehand all over the court. In the match at Miami, Gonzalez actually won a set.

The key for Roger is to be the aggressor once again, much like he did in the match against Ferrero. He shouldn't let Gonzalez dictate with that powerful forehand. He should also try to bait Gonzalez into coming towards the net, much like he did during the Matheiu match.

I will be there .... holding my breath until Roger's last winning point ends the match!

Me too, I'm a little scared of this match :scared: Gonzo sounds very confident right now, hope Roger comes out aggressive and uses his net play to his advantage, he is the better grass court player, and plz stay away from that forehand. Did I say I'm nervous :scared:

Good luck, Roger. This is a matchup I worry about. Gonzalez can blow just about anyone off the court when he is at the top of his game. This will cetainly be no walkover. Federer will need to serve well and look to attack the net at every oppurtunity to win this match. If Gonzalez's shots are going in, its going to be very tough to beat him, so hopefully Federer will look to attack early in the rallies.
