You know how it is when life interrupts Internet time. :rolleyes: :p My sister and I worked from 7 AM to 12 noon on our fence, which wiped us out. It was close to 100 degrees (I think that's around the 50s for you Canucks and Sanely Insane Brits :o ) and as we're building the fence around our basketball court in the yard, the cement was reflecting all the sun back towards us and making it even more miserable. It's back to being a typical Texas summer now, one where the highway maintenance guys have to put sand down on the roads because the tar bubbles up, and where you can look off into the distance and see the heat waves shimmering.

So that was one day, and we went into San Antonio for a doctor's appointment today. Damn the real world! :p

Yeah, 100 degrees is rather warm. However, I'm counting my blessings so far, as it's in the 110s not far south of here. :eek:

Since this thread has my name :o I might as well use it to make a happy announcement: I've got 2 new kitties! :D We adopted them from the vet. The girl is named Mr. Bojangles, and the boy is Rocky Balboa. ;)

I went out with this really cool guy last night :D he's Italian and has the perfect body... I'm going to a club with him again tonight :D fun fun lol... hmm... that's about all... your postcard should be in the mail soon :p
