Their primary target is the consumer group described as cheesy cravers, I guess.

You are welcome to them. I am incredibly allergic to flowers. Especially lilies which I love, my aunt is normally the beneficiary if I get flowers. I also prefer them growing outdoors in their natural state to being stuck in a vase and dying.

Chocolates on the other hand, if anyone wants to buy me those, they are more than welcome. ;)

Thanks for the videos. He looks really good at both the party and the presser. Glad to see he's out at the party. And I actually like the sweater tied over the shoulder better than his usual jeans and black Lacoste polo uniform. I'm liking this guy already... As far as I remember this would be the first time one of his coaches has been blunt enough to say what others MUST have felt. It was always he needs to work more on his conditioning, forehand, etc. and not much mention of his head. Being one who always seems to focus more on his mental breakdown over his physical I am glad to hear this from a coach. However the mental side is much harder to "fix" than the physical - so a tough road ahead.

This training session was really pleasant to watch, both players wanted to win the set as they do in real tournaments. Richie played well, served well and won 6/4. That's why, even if he lost in opening round against Greul, I'm raisonably confident for the future !

Well, the whole video is rather superficial. They speak about Markus and show Deblicker, they don't let us see the trademark SH BH, it is all hastily put together. And he doesn't seem to really enjoy the ballkid's meeting either. I have seen him much more friendly and sincerely smiling with fans.

He was hitting with a player i haven't seen before and they played a set. They practiced for an hour and then he played against Markus. He practiced for a total of about 2 hours. He looked happy and relaxed and constantly joking with Eric and Markus. I regret that i wasn't able to catch him laughing with Eric. Eric and Markus seem to be getting along very well too.

7 minutes to practise your French. He really gives us non-native speakers a hard time in that one, mumbling and the hands in fron to of the mouth. :o He is certainly not the master of press-conferences, but he is honest and tries to take things not too hard, joking about Gael, but not unpleasant.

For once, it is not Richard's fault. He can only answer what he is asked about and if the interviewer comes back to football all the time...

I felt he did well on the DC questions, he admits being disappointed for not playing and says that he tried to be a good 5th man, expressing his hope to be there in 2011, and even if he is pressed by the guy, he does not come up with the slightest criticism on Forget or the other guys, neither by words nor by body language/facial expressions.

thanks Pushkin :yeah: I liked it. Ritchie seems more comfortable when not playing tennis :) the guy Jacques Vendroux, is clearly more into football, but Ritchie was classy as usual. The guy said that many "specialists" aknowldged that Ritchie should have played the very first match against Djokovic, that he could have won it. Ritchie dodged the danger. I liked the end because the commentator said he had a special feeling 2011 would be the great season for Richard :)

I particularly had that feeling in the first set - they seemed to be "picking on him ", and as I would consider Benneteau the more accomplished doubles player of late , cannot say I disagree with their tactics .
but , I guess I was less disturbed by their play than by the fan reactions
the crowd was packed - and it seemed like only 3 people ( my daughter , her friend and myself ) were the only ones cheering the french
The rest of the crowd was for Federer - and when we clapped we got some truly hostile glares and even a few put downs .

I have nothing against Federer - obviously great player and seems like a good guy from all reports

Jo Wili came out and supported him at his big doubles matches
We saw Richard often at breakfast and dinner - but he was never in the bar with the other french players ( they all hung around after they lost - and were frequently seen playing cards / enjoying the evening at the bar - but no Richard )
He was very sweet in a few conversations he had with my daughter and her friend - mostly thanking them for their support at the big doubles match
and chatting about dessert . The Esmeralda makes super chocolate cake in tiny little buffet servings - and he seemed to enjoy those quite a bit
They were both in line getting pieces of the cake and talked about how good it was
That is about all I can tell you on that front

We did see him walking on his way to the players party before the tournament began - and he was with Chardy when we saw him
