Seeded 18?!

It's surprising David has been seeded 18. At Wimbledon, they usually take into account the previous performance on grass, don't they? As far as I know, Puerta and Ferrer hardly won couples of matches on grass. And Davydenko, 0 matches, if I'm right.
But let's hope for the better. If you remember, David was seeded 28 at Wimbledon 2002. Vamos!

Correcting myself, Puerta has never won a match on grass.

I know, but that's Wimbledon!
As you said, the seed's not that important, let's just hope he can make a good tournament ;)

he is seed 18, because he did not have good results on grass on the last two years, that is why he is 18.

You're absolutely right Frula.
He made R4 in 2003, but more crucially he missed the entire grass-court season last year.
Perhaps not having the added pressure of being a high seed might work in his favour, but I guess it all depends on the draw.

Yeah, it's up to the draw...
