my god, wimbly is a big, huge disaster!!!!!!!

06-16-2005, 12:39 PM
i hate this year's wimbly, very much!!!

06-16-2005, 05:30 PM
But maybe Nikolay will progress at Wimby! It's not because he's in Federer (the killer) part that all is lose! Remember Federer had been defetead more than once this last months (by Marat! :worship: ), but it's true that on grass, it will be easy for Roger...

Go Kolya :bounce:
Good luck in next round

06-22-2005, 08:58 AM
Well I wouldn't put it that loudly as Kolya playing well on grass. In fact my heart was breaking watching him play there. He soooooo misses his clay, standing a meter away from the backline and trying to play in a very clay manner. But one thing Kolya has is character and a fighter spirit and that's what counts and can serve him an excellent job :)

06-22-2005, 10:14 AM
annie, have u watch his 1st round play, right?? thanks ur post, i think for a man never passed the 1st round at wimby, kolya has a good beginning no doubt, so good luck to him.

06-22-2005, 02:49 PM
good kolya, he has caught the 1st set with another tb, just like the match of yesterday's, good luck, kolya, c'mon

06-22-2005, 03:29 PM

06-22-2005, 04:23 PM
Five, the report from reuters: i am so upset about his injury, i am crying now for him, for marat, what a feeling now i have, my god!!!!!

Wimbledon-Wrist injury scuppers eighth seed Davydenko
2005-06-22 15:24:51 GMT (Reuters)

LONDON, June 22 (Reuters) - Russian eighth seed Nikolay Davydenko retired injured from his second-round match against Sweden's Jonas Bjorkman at Wimbledon on Wednesday.

Right-hander Davydenko was leading 7-6 2-1 on Court Two when he decided to quit after receiving treatment on his right wrist.

The 24-year-old had reached the second round of the grasscourt grand slam for the first time.

Bjorkman, the 33-year-old ranked 97 in the world, will play either Frenchman Jean-Rene Lisnard or another Russian, Mikhail Youzhny, in round three.

06-22-2005, 07:29 PM
The wrist injury is really unfortunate. :bigcry: I hope it's not too bad though. *sigh* Kolya's had a such a super year so far.

06-22-2005, 07:45 PM
right, now i just wish ira can make kolya less upset, i think she will and kolya will face it and take care of himself

oh, i have not watched him for a long time, i miss him a little,

now i just can hope that misha can go further, at some point, for kolya at wimby, good luck, kolya

06-22-2005, 08:05 PM
I'm sad that Nikolay had to retire with injury, but at the same time I was really not looking forward to him and Youzhny having to play in the third round...

I wouldn't have wanted either of them to lose!

06-22-2005, 08:12 PM
Lets just hope that the injury is not serious and he can get back to being 100% on the courts!

06-23-2005, 01:09 AM
What a sad news!

Get well soon Kolya
