I've heard he has problems with his left wrist which started in Halle. I don't know anymore than that at this stage though, but will keep you posted if I do hear anything more.

Itīs his usual bad luck again - whenever he is in good shape and playing good he gets an injury
He apparently hasnīt given a reason so ellbow may be a rumour in the moment. I hope he is just careful because of his bad experience 3 years ago and that he will be able to play the Davis Cup.

True, I just think it's because his tennis style, he always struggle and fight so much, that's easily let him get injury :bigcry:
The good thing is he has no points to defend for Wimby, so the withdrawl is wise, not to deteriorate the injury. Hope Willy have a good rest, and back to the court soon

And thanks for the injury information, Rosie :D

:wavey: nice avatar Polgara! Thanks!

Meanwhile itīs clear that he has trouble with his wrist and that heīs back in Buenos Aires for treatment. He doesnīt know if he can play the Davis Cup, but he still hopes.

Here are two pics Iīve taken in Halle in is semifinal against Safin.

Guys, it's not confirmed yet, but some tv channels in Argentina are saying that an anti-doping test of Guillermo turned out to be positive. I donīt know but they should wait until confirmation to say it in public. I just hope it's not true.

Yes, in the French newspaper, l'Equipe, they said that Guillermo was shocked because they didn't wait. Normally, they wait a little bit. I can try to scan the article for those who are interested but it's in French. Just tell me.
