This is a test to see if my post works.

Comment: I hope that Federer comes back in full force. It seems like ever since he added a coach, he hasn't been the same. If it ain't broke, don't fix it.

Federer is still a great player.

Hi! How nice of you to make your first post here!
There's no reason for Roger to come back in full force, because Roger is playing as good as ever. In fact he's probably playing even better than ever. The story that Federer is not himself anymore is just a story the media made up, because they found Roger's dominance was getting a bit boring.

Excuse me, would you please get that word "still" out of the sentence?

Welcome to MTF, BTW. Hope you'll have a nice time here.

Oh, and faithful, if you like it here, you should get your seat number at the Federer Express Passenger List Thread, and make many stops at the Dining Wagon! :)

Hello to you Purple Rainbow,

Interesting name by the way.

I know that Roger has an excellent game. He also can't let the media pressure get to him, if that's what it is. Everyone has their ups and downs, but overall he's an excellent player.

I agree, because Roger has been wiping out most of his opponents, that it doesn't seem to be as exciting. Everyone will have to raise their game to meet up to his standards.

For the most part he's a very calm player. Every now and then, and that's just lately, he may show a little bit of frustration, but more than likely, he's calm in his matches. He handles pressure fairly well.

I used to post here a long time ago. These boards have changed a lot. Hopefully I'll post here every now and then as my schedule allows. I'm also following one of my junior relatives on the tennis circuit.

Soonah,

You're going to realize that I voice my opinion on how I feel. Don't take it personal.

 I hear a lot of people say that Federer is having a down. I disagree with that. Federer is having a year equally brilliant as last year, he lost only 3 times, remember.
Oh, and Purple Rainbow comes from rock groups Deep Purple and Rainbow. :)

Yeah, these boards did change. I don't know when you posted here and under what name, but I have seen it grow very big in the 8 months that I've been around here. It used to be a friendly message board where you could actually get to know all the regular posters. Now it's become a bit more agressive it seems.
Who is this relative of yours at the juniorr circuit? Boy/girl? Played any big tournaments?

Soonah,

My sincere apologies if you felt offended. :worship: Maybe I had to add some smillies to my post.

If you look around this forum, you can easily figure out that these days we Federer fans, normally nice and sweet people, are getting a little bit sensitive and irritable. It's because we've been hurt by those insults and offenses by some unthoughtful people and irresponsible media. So I hope you'll understand my feelings.

I posted several years ago. I haven't had a chance to check out the entire thing, but believe me, it was beyond agressive when I used to post. However, when I posted back then I had a chance to meet many people. We came together and enjoyed ourselves, but it took some time. I just seemed like there were a lot of angry people out there.

I enjoy tennis, period. I've also played. I'm back in the game again for the fun of it and to inspire my young relative who is up and coming.

By the way, the only thing that I can say at the moment is that it's a girl. A lot of the coaches are impressed by her talent. I'm sure that if she hits it big you all will like her. She is being taught respect, discipline and hard work. She has personality and hopefully everyone can enjoy watching her play.

Well, I'll add this in too. She's as cute as ever.

Of course, Roger Federer is a Specialist in the game. He's a great player.

Soonah, of course I understand :) Don't worry. It was nice of you to say what you said.

Believe me, I know how these boards operate. I don't tolerate people who chose to insult players and fans and I don't do that to anyone. I completely understand. That was very sweet of you. I appreciate it.

It looks like I'll have to come back here more often :)

Yeah...that's why I've been lurking a lot more than posting. I was about to make a thread on the foolishness of Alexito the other day in the General forum, but decided against it because somehow us Federer fans (along with Hewitt's and a few others, but CERTAINLY not Nadal's for some reason) get labelled as trolls the instant we post something that might be construed as negative against Nadal or pro-Fed. It's really annoying, and this translates into what the media is trying to do, in finding any way possible to shove shit down Fed's throat. It's really hilarious too. Everyone is so sensitive nowadays, because of Fed's recent losses.
