IS Gold events usually have very good fields and too bad Ca˝as won't defend his title, this because of the Davis Cup.

Disappointing but he got a good car out of it last year.

Does anyone know if Aljoscha Thron is getting a WC?

Nevermind, they are having an online vote for the WC.

I'm pretty sure Aljoscha Thron got the wild card into the main draw. I believe the other people from the poll got wild cards into the quallies.

Go Joschi!

That's right, Joschi got a wild card for the main draw (1681 votes), the other three got wild cards for the quallies.

Got to admit it suprised me Mischa only got 70 something votes.

Thron had no success at RG and Wimbledon I think. Zverev had some bad results against low ranked players, but on the other hand he already proved that he has a chance against top200 players. For me he looks like someone who needs good opponents to play his best tennis, but Thron has probably more friends. ;)

Yea, Joschi did have disappointing results at the French and Wimbledon. Part of it I think had to due with injuries not allowing that great of preparation, but he is fine now. Stuttgart won't be easy, but when you have absolutely nothing to lose it can produce some amazing tennis.

Saves the Germans a WC for Lars. Waske will probably get one.

I am surprised Marco is still on the ALT list, cause he will pull out for sure.

Yes, I was disappointed  If I had known of the site, he would have had at least one more vote :p

I read that Thron was the only one who got many votes from foreign countries, especially USA and Japan. This weekend he lost 1-6 1-6 in a Future qualifying. :help:

Greul would deserve a WC. Maybe Summerer the other one or Andreas Beck.
It's sad to see that Daniel Elsner was in the main draw last year and now he is no.406.
