Yes, that's an old one, I think I gave him that one at RR.com in 2003. BamBam becomes the Earl of Bamwich when he gets to England. Very proper, serves with his pinky out and everything. I know it's very corny.

http://www.stellaartoistennis.com/newsstories/05wednesdaypreview.aspWednesday Preview: Roddick to Meet Scud
By Barry Newcombe

Mark Philippoussis v Andy Roddick: First Meeting
The Centre Court offers some high octane combat with Roddick, who has won the Stella Artois title for the past two years, taking on the 1997 champion Philippoussis. Both men know what it is like to finish runner-up at Wimbledon to Roger Federer-Philippoussis in 2003 and Roddick last year-but by no means have they given up the hunt. Today marks the first meeting between the Texas-based second seed Roddick, 22, and the Miami-based Australian Philippoussis, 28, who had a wild card entry into the tournament. Philippoussis was encouraged by that gesture after a series of injury problems and he claims that he has done "everything I possibly can in my control" to work on his fitness during enforced absences. Roddick has also had some injury concerns and will be delighted to be back on grass after losing in the first round of the French Open.
Verdict: Roddick to look for a hard-serving win

Jamie Delgado v Richard Gasquet: First Meeting
This second round match puts the wild carded former British Davis Cup player Delgado up against Gasquet, the 19-year-old former world junior champion from France who is tenth seed for the title. The much travelled and widely experienced Delgado has already accounted for one junior champion from France in Gael Monfils and whatever happens against Gasquet he then has to set off for a first round match in the Wimbledon play off tournament where the winner from a 16 strong field will go into the main draw for The Championships. Gasquet's year includes a win in Monte Carlo over the world no 1 Roger Federer and he has wasted no time this summer in broadening his experience on grass as he prepares for his second Wimbledon.
Verdict: Gasquet to justify his ranking

Greg Rusedski v Dmitry Tursunov: Tursunov Leads 1-0
For Tursunov, Moscow born and now resident in Granite Bay, California, last year gave him a considerable breakthrough because he played all four Grand Slam championships for the first time with the best performance coming at Wimbledon where he reached the third round. That Wimbledon run was highlighted by a first round win over the current Australian champion Marat Safin. Rusedski was beaten by Tursonov in their only previous match in Memphis, Tennessee, four years ago. Tursonov had qualified for the tournament and after beating Rusedski went on to the quarter finals. So there is some history between the two players even if it is not very recent, did not take place on grass, and may not be at all relevant today. Rusedski is delighted to be back on a grass court because the surface offers him so much.
Verdict: Rusedski, playing here for the 11th time, should have too much in his armoury for Tursonov

Taylor Dent v Andrew Murray: First Meeting
Murray's first round win over the Spaniard Santiago Ventura was an important milestone in his career because it served the dual purpose of a first victory on grass and a first ATP tour win. Murray is Britain's most promising player, having won the US Open junior title last year and was one of the stars in the Davis Cup win over Israel in April. He professes not to like grass but he is entitled to change his mind on that subject depending what happens to him during the Stella Artois and Wimbledon where he has been granted a wild card. Dent, son of Phil Dent who was once a highly regarded competitor on the courts here, and in many other places, is a genuine fast court player and the more pace he can find on grass the better. He equalled his best Wimbledon last year, losing in the third round to Andy Roddick, and is seeded ninth in the Stella Artois.
Verdict: Dent to make the last sixteen

Mario Ancic v Jan Hernych: First Meeting
Ancic has such a good grass court pedigree at the age of 21 that he has to be considered a serious contender in the Stella Artois for which is seeded fifth. Just three years ago he announced his arrival on the world stage by qualifying for Wimbledon and beating Roger Federer, now twice champion, on the Centre Court in the first round. Last year he was a semi-finalist at Wimbledon after defeating Tim Henman in the quarter finals. All this activity suggests the 6ft 5ins Ancic is going to be a worthy successor to fellow countryman Goran Ivanisevic whose popularity with spectators was always underscored during the Stella Artois. Hernych ranks 75th in the world after six years as a professional. Prague-based, he made his debut at Wimbledon last year and was beaten in the first round.
Verdict: Ancic to start in style

Giles Muller v Thomas Johansson: First Meeting
The 30-year-old Johansson, ranked 20th in the world, is seeded sixth for the Stella Artois title and is one of three Grand Slam singles champions in the field along with Lleyton Hewitt and Andy Roddick. Johansson won the Australian title in 2002 and was the first Swede to win a Grand Slam singles since Stefan Edberg at the US Open in 1992. Johansson has been playing at Wimbledon since 1996, twice reaching the fourth round, and has two grass court titles to his name. So Johansson is entitled to start confidently in the second round against Luxembourg's 6ft 5ins Gilles Muller, at 22 the No 1 player in his country. In Davis Cup play he split singles against the British team last year, losing to Tim Henman and beating Arvind Parmar.
Verdict: Johansson to begin confidently

Phil is less of a threat to him...he has beaten him most times and he has awful lapses. Roddick and Federer are several steps up for him. I don't think it is his destiny. He was going to win in 2001 and I firmly believe that God intervened for Goran.

Phil is less of a threat to him...he has beaten him most times and he has awful lapses. Roddick and Federer are several steps up for him. I don't think it is his destiny. He was going to win in 2001 and I firmly believe that God intervened for Goran.

Henman is up there amongst the best on grass......the least he is 90% of the best.....so it depends on match day form and preparation.......lets hope home crowd will be more vorificious this time around.....they should get the Liverpool fans down to support Henman!!!!!....even hire Rafa for a forthnight for technical advice!!
