Hi everyone!

After seeing the Båstad entry list I really would like to go there for at least couple of days. I just don't know anything about the tournament. I've been to Stockholm Open several times but never in Båstad. Does anyone have any info about the tickets (should I get a ticket with a seat or are there entry tickets?), cheap accommodation, travelling (it shouldn't be too difficult to get in there from Finland), etc? Any info would be greatly appreciated. :D

check out the homepage:

Accomodations are not that cheap in Båstad I think.
But there is a youth hostel: http://www.bastad.com/drivan/men-van.htm

Which part of Finland are you coming from? There are few ways you can get to Båstad, but I will only give the most direct information.

As for tickets well on their site they do advertise them, but you can get them from the gate. The town comes alive during this week and there are a lot of rich Stockholmers with nice houses there, but at the same time there are enough things to keep you going.

What price accomodation are you looking at? The hostel is close to the tennis centre, but if you are going to go, know your days and then contact them as that area is very popular.

Thanks for the info already. :)

I'm from Turku, so Sweden is not that far from here. I tried to look some airline websites but I'm not sure which airport is nearest to Båstad. And I'm not even sure if flying is the best way to travel there. ;)

This all is only speculation for me at the moment. I'm not at all sure if I can go to Båstad. I would love to but right now I have no idea what I'll do or where I'll be this summer.

In Ängelholm is a little airport, this is the nearest one. The other 2 possibilities are Gothenburg or Copenhagen. But maybe the train would be easier for you???

If you want any extra info you can send me a PM. Fly to Copenhagen then take the train to Båstad.

Let me know what your plans are as I will help you on this.

There are direct trains from Copenhagen airport to Båstad which take 2 hours.

It looks like I'll be working away whole July so no chance to make it to Båstad... :( Maybe next year...
