But it's having better entry lists than Gstaad now, when a few years ago it was the opposite ;)

2004 was the best entry list and I am talking overall not just a concentration at the top.

The only way it won't happen is if Vinci declines it. He is very popular there and if Vinci feels up to it he'll get a WC.

Jarkko's last tournament on clay was brilliant. With a good draw he has a great chance here. :) (if he doesn't come too tired from Biella)

Rafa's got this.

Assuming his knee injury wasn't really anything, I agree with you absolutely.

However the right side of my brain (I am left-handed) can think of a dozen or more reasons why he ought to stay away from clay til after the US Open.

Regarding appearance fees, Nadal doesn't care about money. He's all guts and glory

What are you talking about?

It's Cañas and not Chela that has that problem.

I had heard Chela too, although maybe I shouldn't believe it since it did come from McEnroe. :p

Mac is a cokehead and if that's the case, then Chela would be banned for life.

It seems that another Spaniard has joined the armada...
Di Mauro has made the main draw also at Gstaad, and I guess he would prefer to go there, so Hernandez will take his place...
no official info, but if I was Italian and could choose between tournaments in Switzerland and Sweden, both on the same surface and the same prize money and ranking points, it was no-brain decision...
