no bagel for nadal 5-1

chip and charge: return and goes to the net

Am I wrong here? Doesn't it mean ("chip" taken from the golf vocabulary) that you slice the ball (deep, best case...), like Henman does with his backhand towards the left corner and go to the net? "Chip" is a small shot in golf where you sort of slice the ball into the net... :)

1sun...get lost with that kind of arrogant answer...bad tone. :o

14:06 With light drizzzle falling in south-west Paris, the players continue on centre court with Sela leading Federer 3-2 in the second set. FEDERER did well to break the Israeli after Sela held three game points.

thanks for your enourmous help :o
sorry couldnt help it. its when the reciever slices the ball back and runs to the net and tries to close the point out at the net. its a risky tactic, it can pay off but it can go extermely wrong. players noramly do it when their game plan isnt workin unles your henman where its a big part of his game.

LOL - correction, you only slice it into the net on the driving range...I meant into the "air"....if you are Kenneth Carlsen, though, you slice it into the net perhaps... :D

14:09 Roger Federer and Dudi Sela walk to the umpires chair, wanting to come off court due to the rain. The VIP boxes on centre court are virtually deserted as they head off for their lunches in the marquees.

Rogi win 6-1, 6-4, 6-0:D!
Low quality match though, A LOT more UFES than winners (40 UFES for Fed and 23 winners).. but I guess it's always tough to play the first match, he should elevate his level in the next round:bounce:!! GO FED:D!!
