i'm still technically staying away as im not going to bet these i'm fine tuning my play selection methods... thus according to my new data my plays for today are the following:

Angels ml and rl
texas ml
florida ml
mets ml
stl ml

lets see if this new method can produce some winners over a trial period

Surely Mets at $1.70 ML is too high against cincy?

Going to hit the RL big time

Only play for me on the early games - might have a dabble on the later ones if mets get up

Gonna have to agree with the Mets sending out Glavine it will be tedious and an uphill battle for Cincy, but at the same time they will be looking to avoid the sweep and remain somewhat close to Houston.

At a quick glance the choices are simple...

chicago WS ml (Buehrle 6-1)
Florida ML (Beckett 2.40 ERA)

Right Mets do the right thing and i collect on my RL

I only bet the mets and stl today for real but so far overall on my trial picks

stl looks to be a winner at 7-0 in the 6th
angels ml won ( rl lost )
flo won
mets won
texas lost

not a horrible start for my new picks system thus far.

Well it looks like i'm going 2/2 today

going to get greedy now, and hammer the yankees RL as well - their bats are smoking at the moment and hard to dispute a 10 game streak

is that your way of rubbing in the grizzlies loss :p

im in vancouver, as vancouverites we hate torontonians cause they think the world revolves around them. And seattles closer than toronto anyway, so they're as close to home teams as we've got. Sonics, mariners, seahawks cheer them all on always have.

I cant believe this

yankees are now down after posada just cost the team two runs with a terrible error

NATAS81
05-19-2005, 05:11 AM
Wow, Yanks with 3 errors. You wouldn't expect a team on such a hot streak to perform that poorly. But it is New York, and all NY sports teams can be counted on to play erratically at any moment.

A-Rod hits his Major League leading 14th jack.

Jeff Nelson, one of the most wicked sliders in the game is pitching the 9th for Seattle.

Womack grounds out, 2 outs remaining for New Yorks 11-game win streak.

Not so fast, flmm. NYY are only trailing by a run, and Matsui and A-Rod are due up. Each packing home run power, and representing the winning run.

Matsui and Rodriguez are 3-7 combined tonight.

NATAS81
05-19-2005, 05:21 AM
Matsui singles to center, Sheffield to second.

2nd & 1st, 1 out for Alex who has gone deep already tonight.

Posada, the catcher, reaches on an infield single (had to have been misplayed by somebody, lol).

Bases loaded, 2 outs, for Giambi who is 1-4

This is what it's all about, folks!!

Tino, hottest hitter in the league next to Abreu of Philly.

NATAS81
05-19-2005, 05:28 AM
It says Giambi struck out swinging, no Tino?

Giambi seems to have his best games against Oakland, who they've already swept.

There goes NYs 11 game win streak. And a close game at that. 7-6.

I would bet on Seattle if say, Moyer gets hot. He's too good, and has a track record of putting up solid seasonal ERAs.

They have a good young nucleus in starting pitching in return for Garcia.

All of Seattle's starting ERA's is over 4, but their bullpen in Hasegawa, Guardado, and Putz is spectacular.

So if one of their starters gets hot and they play a below .500 team, I would definitely consider them as ML contenders.

flmmkrz
05-19-2005, 06:09 AM
its not that I dont think they're solid enough to bet on but its just easier to watch them as a fan with no money riding, the last few days has made watching them frustrating. Sonics games win or lose are always more fun with betting, but something about baseball and my team just doesn't work for me.

NATAS81
05-19-2005, 06:14 AM
I know how you feel. Seattle is in the same situation as Cincinnati, my team, only it's the opposite. Your starting pitching isn't so hot, the Reds overall pitching stinks from starters to the bullpen.

You have to feel confident having the best RF in all of baseball, though.

Sexson, Beltre, Boone, Ichiro - 4 potential allstar ballots

It's frustrating seeing people picks MLs and parlays against Cincinnati, when I know they are capable of playing real good baseball. It's not strange for you to see them score 12 one game, then 2 the next. Very, very sketchy team to bet on.
